When i am playing, i have a lot of technical problems. one is that the images of my party will go away, or become 'splotchy'. this happens both in the quick view and the character info screen. i think this may just be a graphics card issue. another problem im having is i cant hear any music or sound effects when there is a major cutscene playing. i can hear the voices fine, but even in the opening cinematics, with the dragon shadow, i cant hear any music/sound. any clue why?

After patching from 1.02 to 1.04, my entire Warden's keep stuff disappeared. I bet this has happened to others before so does anyone know the solution?

Well,for the Original Campaign, the problem simply disappeared. I still cannot transfer the DLC to other modules, though....

Ok, so I thought I'd throw this in here as well, see what you guys make of this. So, it seems like my DLC activation for my Steam version of Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition failed. Heres what happened. After I entered the code to redeem the content, I got the following message:

“Code successfully redeemed! NOTE: You may need to refresh your wallet balance in-game before content will appear in-game.”

Followed by:

“Unrecognized Item
Click Here to view all your registered game content.”

As a result no DLC was added to my account and none of it is authorized in-game. The code is useless now, naturally, as it's already been used. Any thoughts, suggestions would be very helpful.

Hello, I'm having a strange issue.  First, the game would crash on me randomly, then once I bought Warden's Keep it would crash on me when fighting the final boss and I couldn't pass that location at all.  I thought it was because I switch video cards from one Nvidia to two ATI's in crossfire.  So I uninstalled the game, keeping my saved games, and reinstalled it hoping that would fix my problem.  I also installed patch 1.04 on the reinstall. Now of course I can't play my saved game because its been saved on Warden's Keep.  So when I go to Downloadable Content to re-download Warden's Keep, the download tab has a red exclamation mark on it, and on Warden's Keep the version number is in red as if it's a problem.  It says game version 1.0, yet my game is updated to version 1.04.  I've already started over about 4 or 5 times since I've had the game and I don't want to start over again.  This is the furthest I've gotten.  Because of this problem, now I'm hesitant to buy Dragon Age 2.  Does anyone have any advice?

In the golem quest (DLC) forgot the exact name.
I cleared out all the darkspawn from the basement, but conversation isnt starting with the villagers behind the barrier.

I can't select the barrier or anything - and DA wiki isnt helpiing either

I just installed Ultimate Edition (Retail, no previous install). I am unable to log in from the game main menu. It will not accept the password I used to log in here- says it's invalid.

It seems the game does not like passwords with special characters. I changed it to alpha-numeric only and logged in fine.

Dialogue problem.  DL:O installed on Windows 7.  In first quest after becoming a recruit, I'm tasked with finding old scrolls.  I've found the chest where the scrolls are held.  After clicking on the chest, a mini movie begins and a female NPC asks me if I am a scavenger or intruder.  The dialogue options that would normally pop up for me to make my decision do not.  Any other coversation I engage in has no problems.  I'd appreciate any help.

Hey guys, first time poster.

Being playing the Ultimate Edition and having a great time, but I've run into this problem recently in which the world map won't display. I've just finished the Urn of Sacred Ashes/Haven story quest, and am trying to go back into the greater game world, but the map will not display, and all I get is a little grey square in the upper left corner of the map window. Any suggestions?

Random Crashes. Tried various solutions. I'm at a loss. I dun wanna give up this game

ATI Radeon HD5670 x2 Crossfired with Dx 11

Side note, worked fine on my wimpy laptop with Win 7 on it before bonus content and updates.... hmm...

There are multiple DLC troubleshooting threads pinned to the top of this forum.  Have you tried any of those solutions?

somehow I don't get any items from the npc's anymore, such as Warden's Oath, I only get gold instead of the item

I have this problem in Dragon Age Origins:

I have Ultimate edition which includes the expansion Awakening and all the DLCs. In game I'm in the part where the guy Levi Dryden gives you a quest in your Party camp, it's the Warden's Keep DLC. When I walk to Levi and I see shining quest mark above him like normally, I talk stuff with him and when I choose the option to accept the quest, Levi says that he'll mark the quest in my map. After it screen goes black for a second and returns to control my character next to the guy, but I don't get the quest or see it in map. It just won't accept the quest and the shining exclamation mark remains floating above the quest giver.

In nutshell: Warden's Keep DLC's quest giver is not working, quest cannot be accepted.
