medigel heals yourself if you upgrade it! i didnt know that! whats the point of using barrier/gsb/tech armor when you can just use free and fast recharging medigel????


anybody else use medigel alot? i wish i knew this on my insanity runthrough. harbingers an ass hole.

I use it every now and again, but most of the time, I just get back into cover. I do make sure that I have the three Medigel upgrades needed before heading into Mordin's recruitment mission so that I can get the research done as soon as the mission is over. I may not use it much, but it's still nice to have it as an oshi button when the need arises.

I use barrier before big fights, since it lasts a real long time.

Meh, my one point Barrier is enough of a failsafe. Don't need much more than that.

you dont need much more then medi gel, and that my point. ive played alot of sentinel and loved tech armor, but medigel does the same thing and its free.

i was worried for my engineer but medigel is savin my overly aggressive vangaurd awesomely.

Not to be a wise ass but:

Barrier - protects against enemy biotic attacks
Geth Sheild Boost - Not only does it protect but with the right specialization it can also boost your weapon damage(medi-gel can't do that)
Tech Armor - It's always on once activated and when destroyed it stuns all enemies surrounding you.

I agree that it's cool that medi-gel can still be used to heal yourself aswell as revive your squad but that doesn't mean you should rely on it and forget about you other defensive abilities.  Just sayin!
