Maybe try to find a digital download somewhere?

If you have a 360, it's on Live for like $20 or something.

Nah, I have a PC.

And I don't want to spend any external money other than that on my $200 Coles & Myer Group gift cards... <_<

Places like Amazon should still have a quite a few copies of Mass Effect on PC, or so I would imagine.

No, I'm looking to spend for it at places which support the Coles & Myer Group Gift Cards... None of those I have been in have Dragon Age: Origins (a fairly new game) nor Mass Effect.

So, I was thinking, would it help to play Mass Effect 1 after all? (Since i've played Mass Effect 2).

Since I've already completed ME2 two times, should I start again with ME1  then import those characters into an ME2 game and play with that?

Help, as in, getting the benefits of playing ME2 when you import an ME1 save, as-well as actualling knowing what to say when the people in ME2 remind you past events which you made a decision for (whether it be good or bad, i'm not to know) :P

Personally I think that ME2 is overall better, but ME1 has the better story.

So, if story is the most important aspect of a game for you, get it.

But if combat is more important to you, you might be disappointed by ME1.

I played ME2 before ME 1 and I kinda understand why they dumbed it down. Gameplay and inventory and shooting mecanics sucked big time, so instead of improving them they removed and changed them

Dragon Age, as I understand it, hasn't really sustained a strong consumer demand. Mass Effect, similarly, isn't as sought-after as it was years ago, so I doubt you'd find it just lying around in a games section at K-Mart.

I would personally get Mass Effect at EB Games, and try to find DA:O at a KMart or Target.

Mass Effect 1 should be reasonably priced I think you'll just have to shell out the dough to get it as it isnt in "common" stores. You'll have to go to EB as it came out 3 years ago(?), sorry dude. Dragon age is still recently out in stores and should be in your local target or kmart.

I always loved steam... no discs to keep track of :P! I was always bad about that. You could also watch steam for discount sales. I got Mass Effect 1 for 5$ during their Christmas sale. ^_^

Well I guess I can not get either games at all, since I am only willing to spend at the listed stores (which do not involve EB Games :()
