[TMA LIVE]

Holy ****! She's a killer! I'm currently playing a Vanguard playthrough (insanity) with her in my party at all times, and I've just passed Horizon. And I can say with absolute confidence that, with Shadow Strike maxed out and Master Infiltrator set, she's the best party member in the entire game. In many ways, she's even more usefull then Miranda (though to be honest, they might be tied. But I like Kasumi better). Her attack is strong no matter what protection your enemy has, and can kill opponents in one hit, or make them dying and useless till you kick their teeth in with a melee attack. Plus Flash Grenade killing husks, and overload for long range enemies, she's usefull in almost every mission. Seriously, my
Vanguard and Kasumi are murdering everyone faster then Superman can go around the world. Every 9 seconds equals 3 guys dead at a time.

Anyways, just wanted to post my thoughts and excitement on her, and wanted to know if anyone has tried having her in your party from beginning to end, and if she's just as good and useful as she seems to be with me. Example, is she just as usefull for Soldier and Adept players? Does her style of combat not work for you? etc.

Yeah just started insanity vangaurd (got to recruit grunt then its horizon) and she is killing everything, and has a permanent place on my squad, every character I now make will have Kasumi in the squad. I never gave anyone a permanent place but damn she earned it. I find it strange she is a better killer than everyone, and she is a theif, they are trained to kill she is not and she is better than them... Hope she is back in ME3, and with a bigger role (dialouge wheel...LI ?)and not like kaiden/ash.

Totally new dynamic from the other squad members. Impressive skill set. I would say from a combat standpoint that in mid range fights she could very well be the best squadmate to have.

Kasumi Held her place once I saw flash-bangs in place, her Shadow Strike was nice, but i wasn't able to chain them correctly, however, her loyalty power... that permanently put her in my squad. Like Forever. If bio-ware haves her disappear, I'll be disappointed since she's extremely useful. Now I just choose a member who fits the mission profile I'm going on,



Any large presence of mechs are tali or legion so both of us can AI hack them.



Besides, she has something about the reapers so she probably will return.

I gotta agree, I like to run with Kasumi with her maxed out shadow strike, and Tali with her maxed out drone add in my solider shepard and they clear the field pretty quick.

True, but she better have a propper dialouge wheel, im still shocked Jacob got one yet she didnt.
Zaeed could return too, but I dont care about him that much. Besides I assume she will stay even when I destroyed it on one character, she dosent have anyone else realy because it seemed kenji was all she had, andshe may now see shep as a friend she wants to help. Any squadmate should stay when you think about it seeing as hey know of the reapers and would help even if its just for them to survive.

So far she is the only squadmate who doesn't face plant every 5 seconds on Insane. From what I can tell she has a pretty well scripted AI. She uses her powers and cover fairly well. Of course she does has the best power in the game and the best weapon.

Hmmm...maybe this is why when I did my first Insanity playthrough it felt like I was playing on Normal most of the time. That is minus hard parts like Horizon (although it wasn't too difficult, Collecter Ship, and the Biotic Field part of the suicide mission).

I used her throughout my whole playthrough on Insanity to get the achievement with Zaeed (who enjoyed dying constantly) and Kasumi. Darn is she ever an awesome person to have on your squad. She did die but it was uncommon unlike Mr. Zaeed who as I said before had so much fun dying.

I love Kasumi and want her back in ME3.

You don't really need to worry about your squad in ME2. I just bring whoever I like with me. It's not like in DAO, where your boned unless you plan your squad.

Indeed. Impressive character, impressive skills, I really like her in my squad. Space Ninjas for the win! Now all we need a Space Pirate character who would is constantly fighting with Kasumi and we are all set.
