But Kasumi is indeed useful in a lot of missions and therefor one of the more useful characters.

^ Same. They just destroy everything.
Yeah, I like to play with TEAM DLC. They're a good team.

here's a hint bioware, the "dark second chapter" is over with, let's cut the crap and go back to what the vast majority of the fans really like
oh and drop the heatsinks, justifying gameplay with lore is plain failure
that is all

You don't really need to worry about your squad in ME2. I just bring whoever I like with me. It's not like in DAO, where your boned unless you plan your squad.
Some squaddies make your life easier than others though..
But you don't need them. And I don't like her shadow trike power she always ends up getting her self killed then I have to waste medigel to bring her back to life.

Indeed. Impressive character, impressive skills, I really like her in my squad. Space Ninjas for the win! Now all we need a Space Pirate character who would is constantly fighting with Kasumi and we are all set.
O you mean Jacob?
For those who skip jacob... he's an ex-corsair.

Kasumi does have a flaw when it comes to heavy mechics. IF she gets hit by the missle its game over. As long as you keep the heavy mech on you. Shes a killer if not. Nope Kasumi scream bye bye!
I thought she was really useful against heavy mechs. She keeps making them turn to her, so you can shoot them for a while, and then they turn back. Really she's almost too powerful imo. So far she's making my insanity sentinel run seem pretty easy.

She's brilliant, but I do wish she would not use her Shadow Strike when she is supposed to stay inside the biotic bubble, she never gets back cause of the seeker swarms.
I never let me squadmates use their powers unless I say so, they have an tendency to die if they do.

She's very useful against Heavy Mechs. Little ones, not so much (unless you max out Overload, but you're better off maxing out the other abilities instead, and bring someone else that has that ability), but with the Ymir Mech's she's very useful at distracting as well and causing huge blows to them.

I don't even think Shadow Strike is her best power but FlashBang. Its very useful. Shadow strike is great again single enemys but is not so reliable, and it exposes Kasumi a lot.
.
Wonderful character nonetheless.

Really? whenever I use her she gets a missile to the face and dies. I usually send her out to whack the other merc's with the YMIR while I distract the YMIR with my Widow.
Shadow Strike and Flashbang are the complete win, even if i know she can't kill someone, and i send her out to shadow strike someone that is just outside the realm of the mob, they all turn to her and get an shot off before she disappears, at which point, overload and kill about 3 merc's before they can turn back to return fire on me.

Well, I'm playing it Vanguard style right now, so I use her when YMIR is shooting at me with its machine gun. Then he turns around to shoot at her, and I use that moment to blast it with a Heavy Weapon. Or, if the YMIR is too close, I use her to distract it, while I boogy out of there. Then hide, wait till Shadow Strike is recharged, repeat what I wrote above till it's defenses are down, then charge/shotgun it to death. Plus Zaeed with squad ammo/concussive shot/inferno grenade, or Tali's Explosive Drone, and you'll have zero problems with YMIR.
