If you cut out all the floating in space parts and cut the Monolith "FULL OF STARS" sequence down its quite good.

Granted that 75% of the movie.

Pretty much this.  Of all of Kubrick's films I would say that this one needed the most editing.

Granted I liked the first half of Clockwork Orange much more than the second half, but that is only because I'm a sick and twisted person.

It was a good book and movie.

Both got boring at times, but it gave you plenty of time to absorb what was going on.

It could have been alot better, but it was still good, but I keep fearing Bioware is going to pull a HAL with EDI.

Not so sure about that.

They'd have decent ground forces, but poor in comparison to Aliens.  So they'd lose but they'd be in there longer than Deus Ex.

The only Stanley Kubrick film that I really liked was Full Metal Jacket.
