Or they could drop the DLC and divert more resources to a big expansion, or, more preferably, ME3.

I'm not here to convince you that you're in the wrong. If others in this thread want to criticise me for being uneccessarily insulting towards someone who was "obviously joking" or state that I'm being irrational then so be it. I'm just not surprised that you're yet again jumping to Reinholder's defense, nor does your argument exacty sway me.

And I tried counter-arguments last time. All I got in return was name-calling and a bunch of immature touchy-feely joking between you and Rein, so pardon me if I didn't feel like wasting another day.

Lol, i dont remember name calling you yesterday... Though i thought it was a little hard for you. As you were trying to prove a point and Rein and I shared a view point so its 2v1.

I think you're all communists. I think you like free healthcare, and your free unemloyment benefits, that usually follow from living in your parents house (for free), and as a result you expect everything for free. OH SURE! It would be fine if you could trade your bread, and other goods with bioware employees in exchange for DLC, but because you have to pay money, it's now absurd!

Communists. I bet you voted Obama as well. Apart from people in the EU. I bet you voted for sarkozy, or brown (wait, no one did), or whoever the hell is chancellor in germany right now.

COMMUNISTS!

This is too great we got a crazy wacko Conversitve on the broads. <_< I'm proud that I voted for Obama, but I never complained about the DLC nor did I complain about it not being free.

What makes you think I have any political alignment?

JKoopman wrote...

Ya, no, see, thing is, OP is joking,
you're being a dick. You're calling him an a**hole, but are doing a
fairly good job of being one yourself.

And I'm "joking"
when I call him an a-hole, but apparently it's only okay when he
does it.

Could you possibly direct me to the passage where I've called you an ****?

I -am- a communist hippie, and don't have a problem paying for BioWare DLC.

Does that make me a paradox?

Okay so let me get this straight, i brought the dlc and loved it, but at the same time i like free healthcare, does that makes me a communist?
Anyways wow, you need to google your political parties and find a map so you can see that europe doesn't have just one leader. Nice try though.

Personally i feel those complaining about the DLC are just trolls or pirates or just on there gaming period. They'll get over it soon.

Gaming period? Creative. I like to think of it as critical thinking, or discernment.

Its the only way i can describe some of the posts i've read lately.

Yesterday and today, i've been arguing for why the dlc is good, just cause kasumi is short in length, its 750mb+ that means its 100% new content, are people too stupid to realise this?

I mean some of the DLC i've seen for games are like 800MSP but because they give you like 3 hours of gameplay everyones like yay. But they're about 150mb in size. So theres been like 4 new models added with a new bit of code wow...

I'd much rather pay for NEW content, than re-used content thats just been set out into a new way, even if its longer.

Nuff' said.

You could build the biggest, most advanced, expensive car in the
world with the most powerful engine and cram it full of all the latest
gadgets and gizmos but if it only gets .2 miles/gallon and burns through
a full tank of gas before it even reaches the end of your driveway, it
doesn't do you much good. Just sayin'...

If I feel that a DLC is
too short and lacks enough content to be worth the price then the fact
that it takes extra long to download isn't exactly going to raise my
opinion of it.

And yet the Hummer H2 and Bugatti Veyron are still sold... Once again proving everyone has there own prefrences.

It doesn't matter what any of us say we're all gonna want and feel different things. Thats why most of these hate forums i see are so pointless. Just because you feel one way, doesn't mean the whole world feels the same. Infact i could name quite a few people that have played through Kasumi' mission 10+ Times and still enjoying it, still finding new things like hidden eastereggs and jokes.

But by the sounds of it, all you want is gamerscore. You expect the mission to be extra long and simple, so you can play ages and get your gamerscore and never return to it again. That isn't the point of things, if you want that so much, go download Game room and buy some games and get your 1000g.

How does wanting lengthy, feature-rich content in any way allude that I'm only interested in gamerscore?

Yes, clearly the reason I paid 800 MS points for The Pitt and enjoyed it so much was because of the 80 gamerscore I got along with it, not the 5 hours of content crammed into it. If I have a choice between running through 10 seperate rooms of good quality once each or one single room of great quality 10 times, I'm choosing the former.

Kasumi DLC is 560 MSP and actually alot bigger than anyone realises.

its a new character that you can take with you throughout the game, oh and ontop of that when you go to a plannet such as Illum she has one of those "Talk to ____" pop up, where she says her opinions on the area. She communicates with the other person you bring along with you aswell. The DLC is alot bigger than everyone thinks it is. Go start ME2 from scratch and keep her in your squad from the moment you get her untill the final boss, then you can complain about it being small and not worth the $$$.

Also she has unique powers, unique stats. She has her own personality and fears, like
Spoiler
Theres alot to this DLC. But you need to start again to get the most out of it.

I think at least 60% of the video game market is NOT comfortable or familiar with microtransactions and DLC.

Expansion packs have been around for years, but microtransactions and episodic DLC is very new.

I say in 5 years people will be more comfortable with it, for now, we just have to watch people be confused about why they have to pay for a product they don't own. (so confusing!?!?!)
