I didnt go out of my way to get extra points for the auction, but was quite surprised at the amount being spent on some of the prizes.

How much do you think things like the computers are going to go for? I am really interested to see how many points some people got since those bids will probably see the largest.

I would think 12-18k is some of the largest amounts I would see out there.  I am suprized with the amount of points people are spending on things that arent work very much in a monetary sense.

i.e. Bioware novels going at a bid of 10434 or something right now, when an ATI video card and a t-shirt went for 11000.   That video card is around 129-179 retail, you could ebay the thing new in box for 100, buy the novels and have plenty of cash left over.
Thats how I would approach this, buy the thing with the highest monetary value even if you dont want it, you can probably ebay it and buy what you did want.
