I haven't had time earlier to post about this neither to visit the forums again but it's been more than a month that my account is displaying weird letters/numbers combinations in case of the regular links in the menu under my avatar, the same thing goes for the main board menu... Here's a screenshot...

I suppose my account was hacked but I have no idea what I should do to get back normal links... :(I hope nothing bad was done with my games' codes... I would be really grateful for anyone's help, thanks in advance!

Just got a message from a community friend: something had just went wrong in the language field, on my profile, for some unknown reason... I was able to change it back to English and everything looks right again, phew!

I don't think that you got hacked ...
In edit profile > personal info , you can select the language.
There's the 1337 language on the list. it displays number instead of letters.
A developer fantasy i guess. =)
it is very likely that someone made a joke.

it´s not even developers fantasy, this thing, numbers just representes different letter there, Ive met with this "language" while playing FPS online.

So :
0->o
1->i
3->e
4->a
5->s
6->g (apperently)
7->t

just in case someone feels like learning it

thank goodness I found this - was driving me nuts!

I do still have a question, though. Where is the Edit bit? I can't read anything clearly enough to work it out, and haven't noticed the option before

You don't need to edit your profile to change the language of the site. In the bottom right corner of the page there is a drop-down menu with language options - switch it to the language you want and everything should get back to normal.
