Edit: It can also be, that with the PC there, it doesn't encourage Alistair to strike out on his own, and simply maintain the roles you had through the Blight. If your character is dead or not chancellor, you just get the first card about learning governance.
I think my edit more fully explains my feelings on it. If your PC chooses to be Chancellor, it's clear you want to retain power so the card is designed to do that. Which is fine, if slightly odd on Alistair's part. But I'll interpret it as they continue the relationship they had during the Blight, which makes sense if Alistair likes the PC. What would make it odd is if Alistair hated your PC and you go that card. That's a real "wtf?!" situation.
*giggles*
Ya that deffinitely would be a WTF moment and that could be a bad thing for Alistair in the future. Alistair come back to the throne and find a power struggle between him n his enemy. Not good lol.
But Alistair and my Coulsand became like brothers since he didn't know that Fergus was still alive. As far as my Cousland knew he had lost everybody and during the battle's and the male/brother commadrie between the two they became close.
I'm not sure how what I'm doing in Awakenings ending yet as far as staying with the Warden's or going back to court lmao.
