See, I can go quite dark, so that's fine.  It's just that it's difficult to lift my mind from the gutter once it falls in.

I don't really like fic in general but I don't have a problem with smut or weird pairings or whatever. It's just when the requests are like: "X and Z have sex on a mattress made of dead babies while tearing off each other's skin to whip themselves with." Then I'm just like.... whut.

OMG how did you think that image up in the first place????  I don't do dark, I can't read it...I can write it I just can't read it. Depresses the hell outta me.

This. I prefer darker romances to fluffy ones. The weirder fics tend to be pretty good if either you're into what they're writing, or you skip the gross scenes. To be honest, I have a hard time finding fics I like because they are too fluffy. But that's just my cuppa.

ROFL, I just made that prompt up thinking the grossest things I possibly could come up with, but there's definitely a lot of messed up stuff. Let's see... if I remember correctly I saw one where a character skinned another and had sex with another character wearing that person's skin. I dunno, the potential weirdness and creepy factor overrides any interest I may have had. Then again, I don't like fic and I am somewhat of a prude so YMMV.

I like fluff, too, but I prefer straight up funny fluff to romantic fluff.

That is still pretty damn disgusting. There's a difference between dark and f-ed up.

Yes, it was awesome. Ejoslin and Charsen helped me straighten it out. I had forgotten to delete Zev_main.dlg out of dialog tweaks.

Poor Aidan, she's been through alot today. Though I thought the anguish of losing Alistair, and confusion after she took Zev's invite to her tent was  rather eerily apparent on her face in this shot...



Guess I'll have to finish Lyra after this, the last of the Alistarians...

Funny fluff is good too! I just don't like the fluff that reads like a romance novel, or is too sweet.

I like some humor with my drama, although I wouldn't say that I'm a fan of fluff--or smut, although I like romance when there's a plot, too. And killing stuff. There should be killing stuff.

I love fluff, as long I don't get toothache of the sweetness within, that is. Balancing this is good and needed. My faves are angst and smutty fluff, so nothing is wrong with that sabreene
