ROFL, I just made that prompt up thinking the grossest things I possibly could come up with, but there's definitely a lot of messed up stuff. Let's see... if I remember correctly I saw one where a character skinned another and had sex with another character wearing that person's skin. I dunno, the potential weirdness and creepy factor overrides any interest I may have had. Then again, I don't like fic and I am somewhat of a prude so YMMV.

Even though he gives way better speeches as king than Anora does as queen, I much think I prefer unkinged Alistair. It seems more natural, as well as a happier fate for him. Even hardened, he really never gave me warm fuzzy feelings about crowning him, even when he took the throne.

Great to see it so well put in words, for I think the same. I *know* he would be the better ruler for Ferelden due to Metagaming but it's not that Anora (regardless how much I her) is doing so much worse. Both will probably never have an heir (Anora for sure, but I can't see Ali 'succeeding' either), so it makes no difference to me if the Theirin bloodline ends now or later. *shrug*

Though as always, King or not has to fit to the PC I'm playing, but generally I'm all for "free Ali"

I don't know if there's a term, I just stick to stories with a PG-13 rating, and it works out.

I don't know if there's a term, I just stick to stories with a PG-13 rating, and it works out.

I don't know there's a term, either. I think of fluff as something
without a lot of substance. It's like brain candy. Tastes really good,
but not a lot of fiber whatever genre it is (humor, smut, romance, etc).

Ah, how odd.
It's interesting that I can pick up almost any book in the mystery of scifi/fantasy section of the bookstore without finding something that goes over the lime, but I find fanfic to frequently do so. And female writers are much more prone to writing graphic stuff than male. Probably a meaningless observation, but interesting....

If a regular book goes over too often into "lime" territory, it becomes like Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series, and is called Erotica, no matter if it's fantasy, sci-fi, historical, whatnot.

Sci-fi/Fantasy is my absolute fav genre
