My thing with Anora is that she will not swear fealty. That is plans for disaster. She needs to be executed. Maybe Alistair would take some convincing, but in the end it would be best. Maybe something tied to Alistair being changed, if unchanged he won't agree.

I've wondered about that.  She seems too proud to ever do so.  I just hope it's not b/c they plan to involve her in future games.  Leaving her to rot ALIVE in a tower would make that do able.

I kind of have the impression that she is executed, especially if Alistair is hardened.

If she did swear fealty, I'm guessing she got a spot on someone's court or was given the Teryness of Gwaren. But if she didnt swear fealty, you can pretty much be sure that her lead was lopped off, especially with Eamon whispering into Alistair's ear.

Lmao um considering my last playthrough I was Chancellor and Eamon went back to Redcliff, I definitely demanded her head be chopped off Posted Image

I wish there was some reference in the game.

As do I, though I dont know how. In the epilogue it says that Alistair proved to be very popular with the people. So either she is still in the tower and nobody cares, or she is dead.

Personally, if I was king, I would've executed her. Troublemaker that one is.

My thoughts go like this:

1)  After much discussion, Anora was returned to Gwaren to be Teyrna.  She was strongly advised to stay out of politics, coming to Denerim only once a year for the Landsmeet.
2)  After much discussion, Anora was exiled from Ferelden and told not to return upon pain of death.
3)  After much discussion, Anora was quietly executed for refusing to swear fealty to Alistair.

We could add into the first two that she reluctantly agreed or something, but I dunno how I feel about it.

As would I, she's big trouble. My pc just sneaks up to the tower and rids the world of her when no one is looking.

Ok I am sidetracked. Do I have everyone's agreement on the epilogue? I am going to finish making this happen if I do.

Yeah, I have a really strong feeling that she doesnt swear fealty or anything. Especially if her father yields, but Anora WONT give up power, no-matter what. All she had to do right there was swear fealty and she could have a noble position.

Plus I dont see her as being a Teyrna and staying out of politics, she would indirectly be in them if she had too.

Did Anora support you or throw you under the bus?  I have heard her vote counts as three.  So when my Cousland girl won the landsmeet 5-2 she actually TIED though it didn't seem like she had.  And Eamon said something like "This bodes ill" Loghain called for our execution and a fantastic riot broke out with everyone on opposite sides of the battle between Loghain and my PC.  Funnest Landsmeet I think I ever did.  Much more fun if you DON'T let Anora support you cause you can call her a ruthless b*tch afterward...Posted Image

Oh oh HOW do I accomplish that, I'm on another HNF queen ending (unhardened Alistair this time...never tried it) and I sooooo want to say that.

I also intentionally have her betray me at the Landsmeet too. I have the chat with her, and tell her that I will only support Alistair as king. I free Arl Vaughan, do all the nobles quest, make the right sayings at the Landsmeet and viola!

Hmm, I was just thinking of him being hardened and being more open to having one and having her there in a more supportive role, not necessarily flaunting her.  I know he'd never do that.  It was more of an open ended suggestion that needs tweaking....that and I really dislike Anora.  Posted Image

Except his default even hardened is to still end it with you.  You have to convince him to take some happiness for himself.  I think that's still going to lead to him being cautious.

Except he's quite open with his affection at the end of Origins and during his cameo during Awakening (even if he's married to Anora). He's not going to be inviting the PC along to state functions, but the implication is that it's a pretty open thing.

And he defaults to the break-up, but you can actually lose more approval if you decide to end the relationship after he says his line about marrying who he wants and carrying on with whomever he wants.

I can't really see Alistair agreeing to execute her. Loghain killed Duncan/betrayed the King so I get his view on that but Anora hasn't really hurt anyone. She's just power hungry and cunning and a royal pain the the a** (pun intended) If he wanted her exectuted, I think he would have ordered it at the Landsmeet. Just my view though.

She has to betray you at the landsmeet. Just tell her to f off when she asks you to support her.

When he's hardened, I get the motion he wont mind executing her if he survives the Blight, which was the only reason he kept her alive incase he died.

But honestly when he's hardened. He WANTS to be king, and if someone like Anora wont respect his rule, I have a feeling he will do something about it. Un-hardened and he would probably try to spare her.

And he doesn't take much convincing if hardened.  He can make up for hurting my feelings by putting a nice comfy chair between him and Anora in the throne room.  Lol   That's my own secret wish, even if it is OOC.  Posted Image

You can lie to her and tell her you'll support her (when you really aren't) and when you get to the landsmeet you'll get her vote too.  And then when it comes time to choose well you get to say Alistair Posted Image

But I don't do that anymore.  I flatout tell her no, she betrays me and I still win the landsmeet Posted Image.  I love it lol

This is my general thought.  My character also wouldn't be keen on executing her.

As for politics, I was referring to her staying out of day to day politics.  Gwaren is a long way from Denerim, and she'll be running a teyrnir.  She'll have plenty to keep her busy.  Executing her also isn't going to win Alistair any points.

Maybe change 3 to:

3) After much convincing from those around him, Alistair reluctantly agreed to have Anora executed quite several months after the final battle.

AH, I didn't even think about that part, needing a back up and all.  I'm all for him being like the Red Queen.  "Off with her head!"  And all that.

It has nothing to do with his affection.  He loves you to death, but his honor won't let him act certain ways.  You can convince him, but it does require convincing.  Ending the relationship breaks his heart, so I'd imagine you come out with more disapproval from that.

And the PC had better damn well be invited to state functions.  You *are* the hero of Ferelden.  I just think he's going to be fairly discreet.  Those close to him will know, but I think he has too much respect for his position and whoever he marries to openly flaunt it.

Mmmm, I cannot see him being happy or eager to have her executed.  My personal prefeerence is to send her back to Gwaren.  Let her try to redeem the Mac Tir name, and let me not have to worry about appointing a teyrn/teyrna.
