I can't really see Alistair agreeing to execute her. Loghain killed Duncan/betrayed the King so I get his view on that but Anora hasn't really hurt anyone. She's just power hungry and cunning and a royal pain the the a** (pun intended) If he wanted her exectuted, I think he would have ordered it at the Landsmeet. Just my view though.
This is my general thought. My character also wouldn't be keen on executing her.
As for politics, I was referring to her staying out of day to day politics. Gwaren is a long way from Denerim, and she'll be running a teyrnir. She'll have plenty to keep her busy. Executing her also isn't going to win Alistair any points.
Maybe change 3 to:
3) After much convincing from those around him, Alistair reluctantly agreed to have Anora executed quite several months after the final battle.
I like that one. It's good and yes it seems to fit Alistair

Can't you take Gwaren for yourself though?
You can, which means there would have to be a trigger to prevent that option from coming up. Besides, I've never liked that as a queen. You're robbing the teyrnir of a ruler, something that as a Cousland I couldn't in good conscience do.
Apparently, I can write Alistair well. Go me!

Im actually writing a fanfic where the Teryn and Teryna had considered Teagan for a possible match for their daughter. He's a little older than her but he has a lot of potential. He has lands (and will in all probability succeed his brother as Arl of Redcliffe since Isolde keeps popping out mage younguns). He is kind hearted and a good leader and knows how to get things done. Responsible and mature.
What are the options we have seen so far? Thomas Howe (never seen and what I heard of him though never saw is he became a drunk before dying in the war). Vaughan...umm yea. He's mentioned in my fanfic as one Mama Cousland said NO to when it was brought up. Any other young nobles?
Kinda understand how they just gave up and said ahhh marry whom you want whenever you are ready. I get the feeling they would have put their feet down if she brought home someone inappropriate. Dairren was cute but sadly he died, and too low on the noble totem pole to be considered for a Teryn's daughter. Also Ser Gilmore adorable as he was wasn't a good match politically. Had Loghain had a son instead of Anora (or in addition to her) it probably would have been brought up as a possible match.

That sounds like Al and I like it myself. It's interesting to see everyone's thoughts on this. I have to fangirl by myself IRL, cuz no one games like I do.
Mmmm, I cannot see him being happy or eager to have her executed. My personal prefeerence is to send her back to Gwaren. Let her try to redeem the Mac Tir name, and let me not have to worry about appointing a teyrn/teyrna.Bratt1204 wrote...
Teagan & Alistair in boxer-briefs; sweet.
And now I need a shower. Brb.
Oh, I just meant the needing convincing part. I can see him sending her off somewhere and giving her what little power he dares to keep her occupied and out of his smexy hair.

How did you get sufficient strength to put it on him at that point in the game? I have that but hes not strong enough (he has like 18 points from it)

It was explained by the devs these are just guidelines for the person in charge of hiring the VA, and as such not really actual ages of the characters. They can be off by quite a bit.Alistairschica wrote...
I can't remember how I did it but you can look up in the toolset and see how old the characters are.

That's scary. Thank the Maker he had a daughter.
I could just imagine this: We start out in the game engaged to Loghain's son which was arranged btw and the next day is the wedding day. We'll you being stubborn and bullheaded are not going for that and as your looking desperately for a way out in walks Duncan who needs Warden's. Ah a way out and your excellent with a sword. You recruit yourself with Duncan despite mom and dad's wishes and thumb your nose at Loghain's son. I like lmao

Would be one reason why Loghain wants your head after Ostagar anyway

wait are you the one writing the fanfic when Cousland is around 8 and Alistair is around 12? maybe wrong one
I kinda wanted to write a comdey fic of a Teagan and Cousland but it ends up being turned down because people think Teagan looks like he could be baby-faced Couslands dad.
Don't get me wrong I think Teagan is an awesome person.

Alistair said they kept his bith a secret as it could threaten Cailans rule. Cailan had already been born by the time Alistair was conceived. And Loghain said that if Maric mentioned Alistair it would break Rowans heart.
So she isnt dead yet, and she died when Cailan was around five. I'm guessing Alistair is in the 25-30 range.

Well its not a Teagan/PC fanfic its one detailing what she did right after the fall of Highever and the journey south to Ostagar. Thought I might end it with her walking up to Alistair. Or if I go further with it, thats at least the first chapter. That point in the game just screams "Fill me with some story here". The Teagan thing is a discussion she has with Duncan talking about mundane things to get her mind off whats happened.

Still sounds interesting and kinda want to read it, I have been reading too many fanfics once again...I only wrote one Dragon Age:Origins Childhood fanfic, but hope to write some more.
I have to say there is one Dragon Age fanfic with Alistair that I love, I think its called the Two Roads?

We had this
discussion a couple of sites back ^^ In one thread D.Gaider said that
they had first planned Alistair to be a veteran Warden (around 32) but
that hadn*t worked out and he rewrote him, making him a lot younger. One
of the members had asked him personally and he answered that Alistair
is around 20-21. So pretty young, although in medieval times that
counted as a real mature age back then. I think what is written in the
toolset with age 32 is a remaining from their initial plans.
Also
I think this age is fitting because a templar not having made his vows
cannot be that old, either. I think the chantry has an interest in
bounding their templar as early as possible to them.
*off to write on my ff again*
