This is my problem, probably, I can't for the love of the Maker imagine him rebellious. :P

Well, he is vocally against Loghain in the beginning when it's not quite as popular. And, apparently, he was supposed to stay at Redcliffe at the end but he ends up in Denerim anyway. That second one could be less rebelliousness and more a glitch in the Matrix.

Oh! And he flirts openly with mages, dwarves and elves. That's a little rebellious.

I see, I have underestimated the BannHammer. ^_^

He's never flirted with my female Cousland. Does he not do that with them?

Oh, he does, just not as much as he does with a mage.  You can ask him if he's ever had a family - he'll tell you that he's never had the pleasure to be married and asks if you have.  If you tell him no, he says that must be a crime somewhere.    He's a smooth talker, that's for sure....but mages get the best!

I think what Oghren says about him at the end shows he's not the typical stuffed-shirt noble, either.  Can you imagine Eamon challenging Oghren to a pickle-juice drinking contest?

For the record, I think Eamon is a decent person, too, but he has to think more politically.  Teagan seems to think with his heart.  Which is a good thing.  And though I don't slobber over him like most of the women players, you can't help but respect him.  No more than when he's standing up to Loghain.  I mean, look at him.  He is a man among clowns.  I imagine he's armored because he rode like hell to get there from Renesfere, since Loghain was probably hoping no one from Redcliffe would make it to his little regent party.  As Anora said, "before Cailan's body was even cold."

And really, the freak factor of putting him in sexual positions with his foster nephew...  It's gross.  Posted Image

It's the same Wynne who talks about bedding a man like 40 years younger than her just before his brother's body is dealt with.

I really felt like that was so out of character and so strange, especially for when and where it was taking place. I actually don't mind Wynne, although she can get preachy and a little boring. But that line! I was left going, WTF ?!

Wasn't that her writer (Sheryl?) complained over this scene because it has been so out of character for Wynne? I recall having read of it somewhere. Which would say that in weaker DLC (RtO) and in the latest most crappy one the original writer weren't involved.

Concerning the multible amounts of headdesks Gaider must have done in regarding of his characters Alistair and Morrigan in Darkspawn chronicles, I wouldn't be surprised. He had commented on a mod someone made just to kill a hated character off after all (sick, disturbing) Though me thinks his opinion on that reflects also what he really thinks of the newest DLC, but of course he isn't allowed to not say it aloud. Hence his voicing about the mod instead. Sneaky.:bandit:

Oh btw the next DA-version (whatever it is) in Feb 2011 is also going to be released on handhelds as well.

EA is milking the cashcow.

I might be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure that Gaider initially made those comments months ago, so while it implies in retrospect, I don't think it can be taken as having anything to do with the DLC directly.

His comments on that mod are months old, however.  They're just ironic in light of the recent DLC.

I do wonder if his comments in this thread are keyed to the latest DLC, however.  He talks about how it is better to do DLCs oriented to story lines that players are passionate about later versus sooner, since by then casual players have moved on anyway (passionate players can move on, too, Bioware... so quit jerking our chains!  Posted Image).  Also says that he has no say in what DLCs are chosen.  Interesting.

Ahh, okay...didn't know that...since I haven't found the original post of it. However this other post sound a bit like that, which brings me back to his headesking due the current DLC.

This actually confuses me as much as Alistair in clown pants and I created it.  Just FYI, I actually don't hate Leliana... I'd scissor that.

Yay! Because I just took a look at the passionate kiss mod, and it was rather awkward!

Is that the one where he kind of plucks the PC up?  That was linked a while back in the thread?

Yeah, that's the one.

I guess I appreciate the fact he took off his hard, cold armored gloves before he picked her up... :?

What hairstyle is on your ^ PC? Is it the same as my Avatar? It looks different in this pic for some reason - I like it. We REALLY need some new hair meshes- with nice full, longer hair.

You do know that the association of an Orlesian bard with a mabari hound, aka the national symbol of Ferelden, is incredibly insulting, right? (Loghain speaking)

Blasphemy! :o Nothing can surpass Alistair!

Wait, how old is Teagan if Eamon is 45?

38. Just reading TST and when Eamon was 15 Teagan was 8.

Ideal age for me :D

I think he might actually be a bit older.  When does Rowan give their ages?  Right near the beginning?  if so, there are a couple years of fighting before the Battle of River Dane in 8:99.

Oh right, we defiled the mabari. We must apply The Beard to restore it's honor!
