I had this whole chaste love story going between Charon and one of my PCs. It was a nice way to pass the time while strolling and made the game feel kind of sweet. Until I somehow dropped his contract on accident and glitched that file forever. Posted Image

Bummer.  I had the same thing on one of my characters.  It was kind of sweet and sad to think about.  The game did seem to tip you towards this with the underlying romance between Gob and the prostitute, what's-her-name.

This is like True Confessions.  "I once had a thing for a ghoul."

My husband is actually the home decoration obsessive. He is actually more home-maker/domestic minded than me.

I could happily live in a garden shed, provided I had access to a toilet and shower, and an electric cable and wireless set up so i could play on my computer. My other needs can be easily fulfilled in the most primitive fashion.

Yeah but is he the same in video games?  My husband will do little gag things in character creation, but when he's playing he seems to be pretty much all business.

He doesn't play video games. He is a highly social, friendly person, and he likes going out of the house and finding people to chat with and drink beer with. Or talk for hours on the phone with friends and family. Or go shopping. He loves shopping.

He is far more in touch with his femminine side than I. We are still debating if I have one. Mind you, he does have "manly" hobbies, such as football, fishing, and motorcycles and drinking beer. Beyond that, however, he's Martha Stewart. A very large, gorilla-looking Martha Stewart.

I'm going to play a bit tonight, so I should be able to get some decent  Maricstair v. Zombies shots.

I wonder who yukidama would root for in that scenario...

Gah, he is so sexy.  Alright, the squee is back.  I just have to try to block Leliana from my brain and maybe I can play the game again.  Her face swims in front of my PCs' faces just like Serissia's mabari photo weirdness and it makes me want to kill them.  Posted Image

Since when liking to decorate homes is girly?....is it? :S

thats one reason I like SIms2.  You can build AND decorate your homes.

I suck at building houses, but I love decorating them...I'm ashamed of my girliness:blush:

No. Girliess is cool ;)

It's hinted at that he is mentally unstable even before the Broken circle incident. Godwin believes Cullen reacted badly to Lyrium since the beginning, which makes him unstable.

The Templar fate is indeed tragic.

Where is Godwin?  I'd like to look this dialogue up, but can't find it.

It's just a camera trick Posted Image  same thing they do in the photography -- a very shallow depth of field makes most of things go slightly out of focus so they appear smoother and the shot gets sort of a dreamy quality to it. Seemed fitting Posted Image

Most of the atmosphere is done by the lighting setup and colours of the scene though, and that's all BioWare's own work.

Yeah, but you put it together and made it work in ways you don't see in the vanilla scenes, so you are a magnificent bastard, I don't care what you say.

It must be the same thing, here, right?  I always thought my PC's face looked very nice in the softer light.

David Gaider's romance writing + your animations= big-time ladykiller

I left my browser window open last night to this thread. My husband went to use the computer and saw all the Alistair love making porno picks and freaked out!! He was not amused  by what he saw - MEN, they just don't understand.

Unrelated sidenote: I wonder what the drop in productivity has been today since Google made their logo a playable game of Pac-Man.

Godwin is the mage that's hiding in the closet on the second floor of the tower. The one you sell your smuggled lyrium to.

Ya know, Alistair is never getting dwarf action again. Nope. If he's such a gentleman he'd get on his knees for me like Zev does. So from now on Alistair has a "You must be this tall to ride" sign on him in my game.

Precious Metals quest, which starts with Rogek in Orzammar.  As to where he is physically located in the game... cupboard in the mages' quarters.  2nd floor, I think?
