Fun fact, Isolde is a Celtic name meaning beautiful. No wonder she's so irresistible!

yes, they used a lot of Celtic names in the game.  (one reason I hit the Celts to get names for people/animals in my fics)

Just a quick question, sort of, not meaning to intrude the ongoing discussion.

But I heard that besides the mild disappointment of the starting story, the Dalish origin actually gets substantially more recognition throughout the campaign than any other background. While others might be concentrated around one area, the Dalish get recognised pretty much everywhere above ground. Can anyone give an opinion or confirm or...?

Well, asking because I just started this slightly mary-suesque looking elf lady, and I might get a bit too depressed in the middle of the campaign, something to look forward to might be nice. Her likeness is as my profile avatar.

I don't think there's any difference in Exiled Alistair epilogue cards if you're in a romance with him at the Landsmeet. It's always him boarding a Rivaini boat and become a wandering drunk.

Right, That part I know, I'm just wondering if it comes up in the Awakening epilogue slides. Guess I'll find out when I play her through it.

Derp. From what I understand, since the "In love" flag is removed when Alistair is exiled, none of that data will carry over into Awakening. You shouldn't get any mention of him in the epilogue.

My canon game is wandering Alistair drunk and I can confirm that nothing, nobody, nowhere mentioned anything about Alistair. I had not considered that the "in love" flag was removed upon import. DAMN. I'm still looking for Alistair, too! (He's my version of Morrigan -- gonna hunt him down.)

Even though that's my canon ending, I have not been able to have another game with drunk Alistair in it. I usually marry him off to Anora from that point on and let Loghain bite it.

Is there a mention of Alistair when it's just the rebuild-the-grey-wardens ending? In Awakening, I mean?

There is, and it's the best slide n Alistair romance gets, besides chanceelorYou go off together.

Something you might want to try -- i have added a regular .zip file with just the basic files for the armour to the project. If you unpack that archive to the override directory, it should add the outfit data to core game resources and thus make it visible in both the basic game and the Awakening. You won't be able to get a "new" item copy in the Awakening without using the script/console but the ones equipped and/or carried on character import should hopefully show up... worth checking, at least.

Holy crap, you're like a mod genie! Thank you!

What kind of recognition do you mean? Like "oooh there's a Dalish?"  I actually found the HN got more but the Dalish gets plenty too I guess.  Not sure what you are looking for though.

Haha I'm already tempting the wrath of the maker giving her Zev's tat later in the game. Morrigan's eyes might make the world implode!

Just special dialogue here and there, in conversations mentioning the Dalish and whatnot, or special origin-specific situations. Of course the whole Dalish treaty line is bound to be at least sort of different from the ordinary, but is there anything else?

Aww, I missed an Isolde debate!? Lame.

I somewhat defended Isolde. So in recognition for my defense, I demand an Alistair moobies pic. The vibrating kind of moobs.

Ahh, good man!  How could I refuse such a request?

Judging by the magnitude of glorious awesomeness present here, I would say all the pies in question are Key Lime Pies.

Only Key Lime Pie can cast Moob-spell enchantments like this on me.

there is a line when talking about Duncan with Alistair that he asks how the Dalish take care of their dead. There is also something later in the game that hits on the Dalish (very briefly) origin story. Won't ruin the surprise for you though. some of the Dalish in the treaty camp acknowledge who you are and are surprised you are a warden (Varathorn knew your father and remarks that you look a lot like him). And for the most part you get treated a little better (not like family but better than other races).

Other than that nothing really specific i found per se.

It's because tmp has a fix that reduces the bust size of armor. I like it because it's more realistic- armor would not be made to accommodate breasts the way DA armor is. My guess is that this particular model would distort if you tried to go much larger in the chest area.

In my head I actually RP that my female characters use cloth bindings to support/minimize jiggle so they wouldn't look all boobiefied anyway.

True but yu have teeny narrow upper body and wide hips. My mage is not going to care of course...we'll just pretend she's carrying tons of poultices, reagents, and of course her murderknife in that general area.

Heh, as someone who is built like a Pez dispenser with boobs, my PC having a small chest and any wide hips is quite the welcome change.

It's mostly result of the armour having thick  wrapping with additional belts around the waist. It's less obvious on male characters who are V-shaped but on female with mostly straight torso followed by the hip curve it adds to the effect. But like with other armours, this outfit follows outlines of a nude model located inside it, there's no more padding anywhere than the thickness of clothing itself.

edit: a funny fact -- the breast size of that body outline is pretty much identical with Morrigan's. But being way less exposed it feels like less Posted Image
