Badass. To think of all the great scenes BW could have included in the game if they weren't so rushed or were utterly strung out when making the last half of it.

Why couldn't the actual game have cutscenes like this?!

It took Bioware 5 years to come up with Origins, and this fan made movie surpasses it vis a vis cutscenes? Are you ****ting me?

Before seeing that they already seemed lazy. Well, I only saw the ending of DSC but still, come on. But if they can't be arsed to include that stuff in the actual game, I have no hopes for DLC *cue Cailan montage*

I think the thing I like best about that video is the voice acting. Despite being fan-made, it is surprisingly good. Most fan-made videos make the VAs too loud or they don't sound authentic. Though I think the same VA does all of the characters.

The author says something to the effect it took him ~3 months to make that. It's 5 mins of cutscene.

Not everything we get to see in the game is of this quality because they had to ship it eventually. Even then, there's lot of nice sequences in the game, not fair to overlook them imo.

So, I'd heard that you can not loose approval for taking Zevran if you tell him to kill Loghain, but I can't seem to get that dialogue. How does it work? If I were truly playing in character, I wouldn't take him at all, but I can't deal with him talking about how he's going to be killed, so he comes along even though it's not quite right.

The battle at Ostagar is fantastic. One of my personal favorites is the reaction to the orge at the top of Ishal.

So, I just watched that video. Well, half of it. It's extremely well done, but I had the same reaction as I did to Stargate Universe. I meet enough ****s in day to day life without seeking out more.

Yeah, I was confused at first. I thought the main warden was Daveth, the ranger was Tamlen and the mage was Anders.

Still, the characters in this video expressed a lot more facial expressions.

man my mind keeps going back to that scene. I always end up playing clerics in D&D or healer/life type mages in other RPGs. I went into the medical field to help people.

SO I can definitely empathize with the mage in that...not so much his commander.
