Is it sad that I know what he's saying at that point in the Landsmeet?

That's what it'll take, huh? Fine. I don't want anything to do with this place or any of you people. Ever. I swear it.

:crying: Yes, sad. Have we exiled him too often?

geez the thing is 90 chapters plus long?  Is she writing about every single star???Posted Image

Achievement unlocked - Easily sidetracked

I kid you not. She had some interesting plot points but she never focused on them. Like the Wardens interrogating her at Weishaupt about how they survived the AD or Fergus Cousland being a bad guy.
But really 20 chapters of smut and now 10 chapters of fluff make me want to .
For 99 chapters covering 10 post-blight years the plot very extremely thin. Nothing to say of the characterization that can be summarized with: People are doing this because I need them to do it, not because it makes sense.

Sorry, as I said, I hate this fic with a passion ... and it has 450 reviews, most of them are like OMAGAWDURSOAWESOME.

I loled at your "achievement unlocked" joke. Secret 360 gamer here?

20 chapter of smut? You must be kidding me o.O How one...no I don't even want to know. I found the earlier smutty ones with Alistair/Cousland pretty fine, but it has been only two/three at that point. I didn't mind reading the FF, it was like a Daily soap. Well that was until I reached the point where she banged with Zev and thought...this is stupid.

Stopped reading it after that. So you have really read it all? Wow.

Let me guess how it went on; the original queen died a gruesome death later on and after years of angsting Jess is slowly getting back together with Alistair again and is becoming his new queen in the end? [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/ninja.png[/smilie]

I'd say probably. I know I have, since I replay the Landsmeet constantly to begin with and have run through the exiled scenario about twenty times since I started writing Undertow.

Ugggggh, you are a much stronger woman than I am.  It broke my heart to do it once, by accident.  I don't know if I could do it again...

Noooo, no no, I stopped after chapter 41. I merely take a peek when the reviews tell me it's safe.

Edit: Oh, daily soap. That's what I called it once in a review. :innocent:

HOW IN THE MAKER'S NAME DID YOU KNOW THAT?

Of course, she conveniently died after giving birth to a daughter, poisoned by Fergus btw. :D
Alistair and Lady Cousland are rekindling their relationship as if they were innocent like fresh fallen snow.

It's like the video game equivalent of watching a really sad movie (or Boromir's death scene in Fellowship of the Ring) over and over again.

I wonder if it could be re-tinted by the Winter Forge?

This time playing will be my first time using Winter Forge.  I don't know that much about it.  I'm still in Castle Cousland.

I don't think so, but you could open up the dds file and tint it yourself in photoshop or something if you were so inclined... but I'm not sure how I'd feel about editing their work. I suppose if it is for personal use? Heh.
