I've actually come to the conclusion that Alistair is a cat-person. He mentions having a cat once, and on several occasions you learn he's definitely not a dog person.

If there was a cat in origins, methinks it would probably adopt Alistair and take on the arduous duty of looking after our scruffy little templar. Alistair is the kind of person a cat would love: big softie sucker who is easily manipulated by a well place meow or purr, plus the satisfaction of truly knowing the cat is the dominant brain in the pairing.

I miss my cat. He died in January after an accident. We didn't know he had one, he just stopped eating and wasted away. When the vet found out what was wrong it was too late. Very sad. He was only 6 years old.

Awwwww. My deepest sympathies, truly. When my two kitties back in the States died, I was despondant for a few weeks after. I still think of them. They were both 11 years old.

Awww, *hugs*  They're so good at hiding what's wrong with them.  My younger boy is six summer (wow), much much too young.

I apologize for the off Alistair topic question here.

When you're putting down the revolt in Awakening's, I know if I use the persuade checks they'll revolt again later so in order to avoid that I need to put the revolt down now with unfortunately a little bloodshed. How do I do this, do I just go ahead n tell the captain to do it gently the first time without using any persuasion checks or what?

You would have to lure the kitties off your men. Maybe a plate of fresh chicken. When the kitties jump off the two studmuffins, you can take their place...being petted and rubbed, and purring away.
