I dunno, I'm not bothered by epilogues so much because they seem in flux. I was a little... I dunno, weirded out that 1.03 changed epilogue slides to fit Awakening.

Did they? I guess I didn't notice. I was hoping that someone somewhere wrote what happened to her. I'm not worried about the canon, personally, I mean if something changes in a future game then we just delete it out of the toolsetexport folder.  So it's not permanent or anything. It would just be something to add for now. The part I hated was Alistair being sent to Weissheipt. That seemed akward to me, but others disagreed.

Bratt: It is very easy for posts to be "buried" so to speak in here. For instance, there was some fan art that you posted yesterday that I tried to find last night, to no avail.

I don't recall seeing anything different in the epilogue slides after 1.03 myself.  What did you notice that changed?

As for the extra slide, I still think creating a couple different ones and then letting people just choose which one to add might be the best way to go.  Would it be very difficult to implement because writing them is not the hard part.

Also, is the sleep-stalking pic the one I posted awhile back?  B/c if not, damn that character looks exactly like mine.  XD

For now I was just thinking to create 2 slides, whether he is hardened or not, or I could use different plot flags. I just thought that one was best, based on his response at the landsmeet when you tell him to do something about Anora, his response is based on if he is changed or not.

Hrm, we could have it based on what you say at the Landsmeet about her.  i.e.  'be reasonable' triggers her sending to Gwaren, 'is that necessary' triggers exile, 'have to do something' triggers execution.  It would just need to be explained to people.

I'd rather let hardened Alistair exile her on his own decision, while unhardened Alistair has her executed because his Chancellor or other advisors say so. ^^

Edit: I think, it would add to the feeling that the consequences aren't quite so obious as you thought they were. ;-) Putting an unhardened Alistair on the throne isn't a good idea, so let's punish that.

Edit 2: Sending her to Gwaren could collide with the boon choice for riches and titles. I know, it's not mentioned again but it's still weird.

Oh, you'd have to ask me wouldn't you.  LOL  I don't really remember, as I said I don't pay much attention to the epilogues, so I could be wrong.  However, I replayed HNF's end game before taking her to Awakening and I remember thinking "oh, that was different, must have been 1.03."

That is an interesting point. It is going to be easiest for me to use the changed or unchanged plot flag for this slide. I never quite thought about it that way. But as far as the conversations at the landsmeet go, that is a good idea, but then I think more would be involved than I really feel comfortable doing. I don't want the angry mob at my door cuz their computer blew up. Seriously as I get more experience I am willing to expand on this. But for now....

Whether or not a hardened Alistair on the throne is a good idea or not, I cannot see him stomaching having her executed.  It really just doesn't fit.  He hates making tough decisions if you leave him unhardened, so it seems really out of character.

C'mon, cmessaz, let's just make a bunch of different slides and let people pick.

Or you could make it Arl Eamon's suggestion that Anora be excuted -- and then carried out. That way, you don't have to bother doing one for hardened/unhardened Alistair.

I didn't notice any changes. And if people want to help decide on the plot flags, I am willing to do as many slides as they want! I could do one for the mistress/consort, hardened/unhardened, or whatever other plot flag ya'll want! My creativity is 0. So get the ideas flowing!

I am updating to the latest more hairstyles, but I think I already had it. According to the creater of this morph, it is in more hairstyles. Now I have to create a new .xml. *grumbles*

As for Anora, maybe we could add a generic slide like in Awakening. Let it be a rumour: Some say she was exiled, some say she was executed, she was never seen in Denerim again.

Unhardened, he is more hesitant that hardened. He says something like "What do I have to do with her!" Sort of scared like.

I haven't seen it and only downloaded More Hairstyles recently.  It's very pretty.  I was disappointed by most of the additions in that mod, actually.  Morrigan hair is the only one I'd use from it, but this one I would, too.

Same here. I just hate the "cardboard" look of vanilla hair. Also, I use the toolset to create all my characters, and it's harder to use those modded hairstyles. So I use vanilla most of the time, anyway.

Lest we get too far off-topic...  this is Alistair after you tell him "I guess my home is with the Grey Wardens now.  With you."  Even though it's not a romance starter, it must be such a significant thing for Ali to hear.  He tells you he never really felt at home anywhere until he was accepted into the Grey Wardens, but then that "home" was destroyed, too.  To know that it's not only not completely lost, but also that you think the GWs can be rebuilt (which gets you an approval bump, I believe), is obviously very meaningful for him.





It was a meaningful thing for my Mahariel character to say, too.  Being cut off from her clan and thrust into human society is such a lost feeling.  This will be the big step in her being able to admit her love for Alistair- that her "clan" is now the Grey Wardens.

I decided that instead of going to Redcliffe, I'd have them go to the Dalish.  That will be her other big step, the "you can't go home again" realization.  She'll figure out that as much as she thought she missed the life of the Dalish, that she can never go back to it.  It is really too bad that you get no option to talk to your companions about returning to your origin.  The closest she'll get is asking Zevran about his opinion of the Dalish.

Solved! That hairstyle apparantly must use textures from more hairstyles, but is actually part of the morph. Don't bother updating your morehairstyles, it's not there!

The bangs kill me on those hairstyles. Easy to fight while your eating your hair and you can't see, huh? If they got rid of the bangs, some of those hairstyles would kick butt.

Oh, I'll have to check again.  I did check when I ran that convo the first time.  I believe he was at 41 and the flag did not change to Interested.
