Well, now that I've realized I have a blog here...I put my Jaina's backstory (such as it is) up there with a pic. Maybe I'll do that with all of my girls eventually. For now, I'm going to bed. Say goodnight Alistair...
That armor's really pretty. You got a link for that, please?

I was blah about playing Awakening again, but I think I enjoy it more as a mage for some reason. The quests are kind of meh. I wish they had concentrated more on fewer personalities. Like following Kristoff's trail, finding out more about him as you go, and fewer companions with deeper interaction.cmessaz wrote...
I guess I'd just be happy with some quality DLC at this point. I enjoyed DC but will likely not play it again.
Oh well, I was going to go to bed, wasn't I.

Easiest way to do it is just not use the litany in the fight with Uldred, and Irving dies. As far as I know there's no repercussion for that and you get the templars in the final battle.

I'm lining my girls up for it. First by choosing my boons/future dialogs so that they'll make sense for them in Awakening. Now that I know what bugs there are and how to avoid them, I'm actually looking forward to it.

Soooo... I'm on TVTropes and I'm reading the High Octane Nightmare Fuel page. Specifically for Dragon Age. I'm including the link just in case anyone wants to read what I'm talking about, but this is talking about Nightmare Fuel. Don't read at night or if you are sensitive to that stuff.
So apparently being a woman and a Grey Warden doesn't automatically mean you become a broodmother. Becoming a broodmother is just a risk you run. If you don't become a broodmother, you die a painful death and your body mutates. And if you survive THAT, you become a broodmother.
I think my Wardens are gonna ask Zevran to make them some particularly tasty poison and just poison them at random when they start getting sick from the Blight.
Note: The link to the thing I'm talking about is below, but you need to highlight one of the passages near the beginning. It is supposed to be from a Codex entry. But I encourage caution, because some people are sensitive to Nightmare Fuel. You've been warned (not once, but twice).
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/HighOctaneNightmareFuel/DragonAge
See, I don't think that if you are a female Grey Warden that you become a broodmother when your Calling comes.
Spoilers: Look at The Calling. In it, both Genevieve and Utha have their Calling sped up, yet neither even remotely comes close to being turned into a broodmother. They are simply rapidly advanced to the ghoul state. The Codex entry it self makes no reference to this happening to Grey Wardens. I think there is a sort of "special" process that requires the Broodmother specific transformation to occur.
Just my two cents.
And to distract us all from such terrible thoughts:

Even better, fight the usual way but after all is done tell Gregoir there's no guarantee all the mages who survived are free from demons (because well, there isn't) Irving turns himself and the circle for examination which leaves you with Templar assist and technically no one dying.Lady Jess wrote...

I was never under the impression that female Wardens turn into broodmothers. From Hespith we know that they feed the females and ... don't know, change them.
I always thought a Warden would turn into a ghoul in the end and they prevent this by getting themselves killed in the Deep Roads. It seems to be a popular theory and I suppose a female Grey Warden isn't immune to being turned into a a broodmother but it's nothing that happens automatically in the end.
