No no, I don't mean personality at all. I mean...Ugh if there WERE romances in awakenings those would be the ...options. Guys has Zev, Morrigan, and Leliana. Girls had Zev, Alistair, and Leliana. NOTHING to do with their personas at all. Just that I can see how they'd match up to our old companions romancewise. This is what I get for posting before coffee...lol

Ah I see.  Once again it seems to me that the male players got shafted in this game, especially the hetero ones.  I hope there's some kind of halfway decent resolution to the Morrigan romance, to take some of the sting out.

Dwarves too...buggers. You can have human/human, and elf/elf (ok no elf if you're hetero male I guess) but not a single romanceable dwarf. You watch, with my luck all the companions will have a part next time, and romance will be open, and STILL no dwarf love.

I don't think the Alistair romance is much better.  If he's king, most PCs will get dumped, with an option to be a mistress.  The HNFs are the only ones that can have a "legitimate" relationship post AD.  If he's not king, you can have the happily ever after....but at what cost.  No matter the options, the only reason neither of you are dead is because the lov of you life slept with another woman and his demon spawn is running around somewhere.  I wouldn't exaclty call that a happy ending.

 Because I love spamming, here's one more restored dialog.  Leliana wants to know if it's true what they say about elves!

The reason it's on topic here is I do fix some bugs with Alistair's banters.  Now the dialogs where people talk about his sex life should only trigger if he's in a relationship and having sex!  And if Alistair is in love, he no longer asks Zevran how to woo as he figured it out for himself.

It's a standalone update on ZDF's DANexus's page.  Party_Banter_3.  I'll be doing one more update, but it's a bug that only appears if romancing both Morrigan and Leliana.  I'm actually not doing the fix to it, Terra_Ex is (he's awesome), so when he finishes, I'll incorporate it into mine with his permission.

If I remember correctly, its -15.  Totally salvagable.

If he's not with you when you do the ritual, I think you get -10 (and I don't think you get that if he's there, but I might be wrong). If you're not a jerk and you use the [Persuade] in the conversation at camp, I think the lowest drop you can get is -7.

for Alistair present in castle NONE at all

Back at camp where he will confront you if you make your persuade check (I was able to get it to -9)

Anyway. I think my character who killed Isolde wasn't very persuasive, I got a really huge approval drop that set me to like, -1. Fun trying to get his approval up then

Oh I realize that.  I think the only romance that gets a gooey ending is Leliana's.  Even with Zevran, you are going to have assassins after you.  I guess you would with Leliana, probably, if you didn't kill Marjolaine.  If the writers go with something like I was proposing in another thread, that Leliana is still operating as a bard in Ferelden, then it would actually be interesting to me.

The good thing about getting a Morrigan resolution in a future game is that they would hopefully bring Alistair in if he is the father.  He should get to meet DuranDuranistair, too.

If you respond "I think it went well, don't you?" he acts as though everything is hunkey-dorey and you get a +7.  I think it's a bug, though.  Can anyone check the toolset to see if it says anything about this?

I can't remember what I said, but I remember playing my character as pissed off that he was mad at me so I probably went for less savoury responses.

There is a bug on the PC version when he confronts you about Isolde you can say "I think it went well" and he agrees and says how glad he is yoiu saved everyone yadayada...I always suck up the few points of disapproval cause
1) its cheating, 2) hes damn HAWT when he's mad and 3) ...well okay 2 is enough reason for me...
