Yeah, once I get this done I will. I should probably fix it too, what do you guys think?Addai67 wrote...
If you respond "I think it went well, don't you?" he acts as though everything is hunkey-dorey and you get a +7. I think it's a bug, though. Can anyone check the toolset to see if it says anything about this?cmessaz wrote...

I don't do it anymore, but I used to have this desperate aversion to making Alistair angry.

All works fine in that case Kryyp. So what I could do is make that conditional so it wouldn't appear at all if you sacrificed either. What do you think?
That would work. I don't think I would say something like that to someone who's pissed off at me. I might just get punched.

But... he's so sexy when he's angry. And he does back down nicely if you pass the Persuade check. I've never not passed it, I wonder what his response is if you don't?cmessaz wrote...

I like the Cunning option to challenge him about the fact that it really all boils down to his insecurity about Eamon.

I take that one too and you lose LESS approval when you do use it. The persuade made him -16 and the cunning was like -9 I think.

Yeah, I see this about Zevran a lot and it makes me snicker. People might as well be admitting that they're clueless about building a rogue.AnniLau wrote...
Why do people complain about how easily their Companions die in battle? Who do they think is causing that? It couldn't be the specs and tactics that the player has chosen, now could it?

I don't get it either. Alistair rarely goes down anymore in my games once I learned how to build him. None of the others die a lot and I find Wynne's healing AI works really well in any rate with little to no prompting from me.

So, I should raise my cunning with skill books and not just persuade?
If you can. I think my PCs are around 20-25 when they get the option but I could be wrong Lately I've been doing Redcliffe last and my PCs go high cunning for Landsmeet time.

Ah I see. Once again it seems to me that the male players got shafted in this game, especially the hetero ones. I hope there's some kind of halfway decent resolution to the Morrigan romance, to take some of the sting out.Lady Jess wrote...
No no, I don't mean personality at all. I mean...Ugh if there WERE romances in awakenings those would be the ...options. Guys has Zev, Morrigan, and Leliana. Girls had Zev, Alistair, and Leliana. NOTHING to do with their personas at all. Just that I can see how they'd match up to our old companions romancewise. This is what I get for posting before coffee...lol
I don't think the Alistair romance is much better. If he's king, most PCs will get dumped, with an option to be a mistress. The HNFs are the only ones that can have a "legitimate" relationship post AD. If he's not king, you can have the happily ever after....but at what cost. No matter the options, the only reason neither of you are dead is because the lov of you life slept with another woman and his demon spawn is running around somewhere. I wouldn't exaclty call that a happy ending.
The mistress thing drives me nuts. He isn't married, you aren't "the other woman" Your pc is the woman he loves and he happens to be king. The demon spawn, well sacrifices must be made sometimes. I'll not be number one priority in my own husband's life for the next 14 years, it doesn't make me any less happy. It's a sacrifice we both willingly made to have a better life. Of course, I also don't believe the child is a demon.

Same here. That I finally managed to get the achievements for never dying in the game was a lesson in concentration.

What takes more effort? Doing all the side quests "just in case" or just dealing with all of Loghain's men at once at Landsmeet because you missed a vote somewhere? =pLady Jess wrote...
Do the chanter's board quests and Krylocks quests have any bearing on landsmeet? Cuz I'm feeling extremely lazy , I have all my treaties done, the ashes ready, and just wanna get to the landsmeet and finish Lyra's game at this point.
Edit: Gonna recycle an old screenshot due to lack of time to play the game, atm.
