Do the chanter's board quests and Krylocks quests have any bearing on landsmeet? Cuz I'm feeling extremely lazy , I have all my treaties done, the ashes ready, and just wanna get to the landsmeet and finish Lyra's game at this point.

What takes more effort? Doing all the side quests "just in case" or just dealing with all of Loghain's men at once at Landsmeet because you missed a vote somewhere? =p

Edit: Gonna recycle an old screenshot due to lack of time to play the game, atm.

Ok what mod has these pretty undergarments lol.  The games undergarments are butt ugly, I'd rather wear nothing than stained looking dingy underwear, but these I'd wear lol.

It's called "Pretty in Pink" and can be found in both social.bioware and Nexus. I'll edit the post when I find the link at Nexus. I can't figure out how to navigate the social site -- are there even categories or do I have to wade through 1000 results every time?

Edit: Pretty in Pink (at Nexus) -- http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=721

Just FYI - the top half of the bras are set to transparent so the nipples will poke through. I had to blur mine out of that picture to keep it posting-friendly.

Vanillistair's hairstyle sort of reminds me of Angel's in the earlier Buffy episodes.

It's just Alistair to me.  I'm fine with all the other variations that get posted.  But if the quorum speaks, I'll stop posting, at least for squee purposes versus say to illustrate something.

I like them both, Yuki-stair and Maricstair. One I use for the first half of the game and the other for the second half.  Consequently all my romance scenes have Maricstair in them.

Yum cooking a roast with potatoes carrots and onion in the oven and I can start to smell it now...Filling my whole house with home cookin' goodness.

You didn't see this when I posted it a few pages back?  I posted like four or five Anderses!  Anders in Pious + Barbarian helmet even.

Which is sort of an odd metaphysical juxtaposition, when you think about it.

There are some things that I see as clear game mechanics--ie. hardened Alistair not making himself king automatically, so as to allow for a marriage, with that irritating recycling of unhardened dialogue, but not this. It revolves around Alistair taking a moral stand that you have to undo to continue the relationship.

He doesn't take a stand- he asks you a question.  Asks what you think about it.  And man is he happy if you say it doesn't bother you.  And in certain circumstances, even unhardened Alistair will admit he was an idiot for breaking up with you (unfortunately that might happen as he's about to sacrifice himself).

I'm not going to try to convince anyone to go the mistress ending- we've had too many discussions about it here already.  But let's not make it what it isn't.  Alistair gets over his objections way too easily and too happily to make it out like you're bulldozing his conscience.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think I'm making it exactly what it is. ;)

We can agree on this:  If your PC is pure as the driven snow and thus says she doesn't want the relationship to continue under those circumstances, Alistair will let her go.  But then the question is moot, because it's obvious your PC would never want to be in that situation, and probably should stay out of royal politics entirely if they're that idealistic.  Hardened Alistair is not that idealistic, so you probably don't want to be with him anyway.

Ah, I see I play the game wrong. Thanks for pointing that out. Or...I could just see it differently.

Heh, well yes, that's what I'm saying.  If your PC wouldn't do it... don't do it.  To me it is a rather infantilizing view of him to say that he's not doing what he wants when he agrees to stay with you, especially when you hardly have to twist his arm to do so.

There are a lot of places where the PC can convince too easily, I think, and that, I see as game mechanics. Why bother to set up disagreements at all if it only takes one line to make them agree with you? I'd say 'infantalizing' is a tad loaded a term, but this can only continue into the sewer, so I'm going to let it go. ;)

Of course, Esra had to put the big dork in something fierce-looking, since this was her introduction to him.

Note the limp wrist.  ;)

But with Duncan's robes and him in Pious and Oghren in Legion's armor, they make a pretty nice-looking bunch.  I just wish I had Shadow armor on this game to stick on sweet Nathaniel.

LOL Oh, Anderps.

And his little "What to do with my hands?" thing is my favorite part of his introduction.

lol, no!  Don't stop posting.  Sheesh.  I'm merely speaking from a personal preference and commenting how it was odd that at firstI sorta liked and now really not so much.  Maybe it's like an allergy.
