That's what I did... I'm anticipating quite a scene from her, and my Brosca really can't put up with all the whining and complaining.

I just sided with the templars for the first time, with Dalish mage. It was an odd clusterfark up there, I am still not sure what my PC would really have done. She's not sure either, because she can't decide who is more cracked in the head, the templars or the Circle mages. Lost some approval with Zevran. He pleads pretty strenuously for the mages. Morrigan gave a big thumbs up. Alistair is quiet as a church mouse- I gather that he is conflicted about it.

Ali disapproves, though, right? I usually tell Jowan to follow me and he wimps out. That guy is Cammen-level pathetic.cmessaz wrote...

lol, Thor. It takes me days (sometimes longer) to actually finish creating a character to the point where I like her. Usually I make her in the toolset before I'm ready to play, and spend hours tweaking her , and re-doing the origins, inspecting each screenshot for details I don't like! I'm crazy-obessive.
Then, as soon as I start playing and get attached to the character, I can't see her any other way, flaws and all. I've tried so many times to change my Brosca's hair to something more dwarf-appropriate, but I just can't do it anymore. She's stuck with a pony tail.
The Cousland warrior I'm creating, on the other hand, has gone through about 15 iterations, and I'm still not satisfied.

My female PCs have all been her BFFs. I was so relieved when I got better at the game and learned how to set her up effectively, combat-wise.Thor Rand Al wrote...
I've never hated Morrigan, disliked more like it but never hated and now that I've played my male PC and taken the time to really get to know her, I respect her a lot more now. She's one of those that you can go back n forth with. It will be very interesting playing a female PC this time around right after playing my male. It'll be a challenge especially when it comes down to the DR lol.
I was hoping that as a shapeshifter, you'd get special dialogue with her about it, but no dice. You do get a special line as a Dalish PC. You can tell her that Dalish keepers use the same magic, and she wonders if the source is the same. It's intriguing because in TST, the Dalish seem to have an understanding with Flemeth.

I still have to side with the templars, too. That's always a hard one for me, I always chicken out. Did you just not use the litany, or did you do side with the templars outright?

I just agreed with Cullen (that in itself is hard to do) and then confirmed it with Greagoir. They don't slaughter them in front of you- just say that they are going to watch them and have the Chantry investigate. Maybe that's for PR purposes.sabreene wrote...

I figure as my Dalish mage sees it, if humans are in so little control of their mages, they can't be trusted with the lore. She is going to get a rude awakening with Zathrian, of course, and probably regret what she did. This setup certainly presents perplexing roleplay challenges.

This is where I got my start. I found it really helpful. Long but helpful and very detailed. Once I figure out the sliders, alot of my characters just came from playing with them. Now, All my elves start with the same basic mrh file, and I change tattoos, makeup, hair, eyes etc. Lyra, Karynne, and Jaina for example...are all based on one morph. I just rename it for the next, and export it.
Karynne-

Lyra -

I had so much fun with Sula, my blood mage. I felt like I took more risks due to her perspective of "do what you have to do to get the job done."cmessaz wrote...
Lots of firsts for me today. I have enjoyed being more bold with this blood mage. I had always just killed Kolrim. The dragon cutscene was pretty freaking awsome, but sadly I didn't take any really good screenshots.

THAT is what I'm doing. I really want to side with the werewolves, so when I get out of the deep roads I think thats what I will do. I'll just let Zevran stay at camp.Addai67 wrote...

I haven't done this, either. It just makes no sense to kill the people with whom you have a treaty for no apparent reason. I could see it if you proposed just to kill Zathrian. I tried it out once with my HNF and then backed down when Zevran pleaded for them, and in my mind that was what she was really proposing.yukidama wrote...
The only thing I haven't been able to do is kill the Dalish. I keep on saying I'll do it onmy next playthrough but I can't bring myself to. Maybe I'll do it with this one, I want golems and werewolves.

She does. In this case, Wynne was a char stain on the first floor by that point, but I did it once that way and she did attack us on the steps of the Harrowing Chamber.cmessaz wrote...
So when you tell Cullen that he is right, Wynne doesn't attack you?

I think my blood mage may side with the templars. She thinks alot like Morrigan, after talking to Enchanter Torrin this time. They refuse to stand p to the chantry hold over them, or even TRY to get some freedom. As far as she's concerned they're all brainwashed. Wynne isn't going to survive, Alistair can just shut up and tank. She'll probably let the desire demon have the templar too. Even as a blood mage she feels kinda bad for those guys, they're under chantry control too...and Cullen showed her during her time at the tower that they have a human side too. I know that sounds twisted, but the Templars aren't afraid of their power, the mages are. If she's taking Allies she's taking the ones that will use every ability they have without fear.
Amusing screenshot...Blood mage meets Keili...the Chantry zealot mage

Yeah, I can't either. I want the achievement though, so I'll have to come up with a reason for it at some point.
