She'll tell you that she doesn't want to face Eamon with their son being dead. (..)
Why would she dump her husband in the lake? If they knew he was dead, rather than just comatose, she would have to go back to Orlais.
That's why. If she truly didn't want to face Eamon, she wouldn't have to. A much easier solution for a selfish person than giving up their own life. And her having to go back to Orlais with husband dead seems rather nonsensical. It was pretty normal for a widow to keep ruling her lands alone after husband's death back then, and actually one real way for a woman to become independent. Quite ideal for the supposed selfish coward.
And she didn't have to sacrifice herself, I'm sure there are plenty of guards who would have given their life for their arldom. I'm sure Ser Perth would have at the very least.
This really doesn't make a good point of her being selfish coward then, does it? I mean a selfish coward would rather tell someone else to give their life instead.
There is nothing to convince me that she is not a selfish, stupid bimbo
That much is clear, but i think it's rather the case of finding excuses for a gut-based dislike than the other way around.
