It's safe to say that all the underwear is anachronistic and certainly the bras are.  If I recall, medieval people even slept in the nude.  But that amount of realism just isn't necessary in my book.  Most people didn't dress and undress other people like I do for my camp followers when I do armor changes.  LOL

This. If you wanted to be really realistic, the women MIGHT wear no underwear, the dresses would be the size of houses, and it would take everyone in camp to put on Alistair (or any other massive armor wearing person)'s armor. I like the black solid underwear, it protects my delicate sensibilites:P

Again, I'm not a stickler for historical accuracy at all. I am just saying that putting the guys in boxers is just one of those things for me. If I wanted realism I wouldn't be playing a game with characters who have considerably modern speech patterns and senses of humor in the first place (or one that has elves and dwarves and dragons and monsters and magic etc etc).

That always happens with my characters. I can't help but make them cutesy sometimes, so they end up being the least intimidating people ever. And then my mother comes into my room and says they look 12. It's why I made a new PC, since my mom came in, saw my new one and was like "Durr hurr why are you playing as a middle school kid??"

I used to have SUCH trouble with Elves, now I can't do human faces. But i wanted her to look wholesome. Lyra looks slightly cranky and a little dangerous, Jaina looks like she'll melt your face off given half a chance, Tryna the Duster looks dangeorous, and my Lady Aeducan looks all innocent but a little tough. Neria here tho...I'm stuck on how to do wholesome, sheltered, yet a force to be reckoned with. I guess her actions will have to do the work...lol

Yeah, I leave my characters actions to do the speaking. Looks can be decieving after all. Usually my characters are what probably falls under neutral good in terms of alignment, so it's not too far off

Top of page, reposting that aimo Mahariel because I realized it's probably the only Mahariel-Alistair pic I've seen that is happy.  Usually it shows them breaking up or something.

My Harariel is keeping him. Doing the Grey Warden ending, even if it makes Awakening lonelier. He'll be at Highever, and managing the wardens in Denerim while I rebuild the keep and get everything settled up there.

It wasn't as bad as I thought, you have the option to tell Zathrian that he will end the curse one way or another, and he refuses in front of the entire clan, so I could justify it a little more.

Aye, that's the one. It's the same artist I commissioned my Gilsa/Gorim scene from (aka my sig). Someone in this thread mentioned that she was thinking of getting an Alistair/warden commission from PayRoo, too, but I couldn't remember who it was. Didn't know if this was done for the same person or someone else.

Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I don't think she looks quite that young but that is definitely a problem you encounter with elves (and I do with humans too, apparently) if you give them a more natural/fresh faced look.

Then again I look at my friends (who are all in the range of 18-22) and they look so varied... it's difficult to say that only kids look like this or adults look like that.

No, only that she looks very cute and in 16-18 years old range, and that haircut and some similarity in features would make her nice cast for that role
