nah he is not kneeling, just implied with the camera like Gilsa said (same as alistair's kisses). i will be working on the dwarf kneel for next time. this update was mainly the big re-write of the dialogue files so i concentrated more on that than the actual kisses. but i will be working on a sexy dwarf kneel for the next batch.

Ahh i see, was curious because it was hard to tell from the pictures. It looks excellent already even without it anyway (as long as one can get over the 'wtf' reaction to the concept itself Posted Image)

Do you want a video on youtube? I have a save right at the "pick your final 4" speech from Riordan, but no romances with Alistair or Zevran so you'd only test out Loghain, really, if you prefer to see it for yourself. Unless someone has a video up already?

No offense to Charsen, but .

My sentiments exactly.  I'd rather kiss the archdemon.  ^_^

With my newest version? I'm 100 in-love and it isn't trigering. Must have something to do with the "friend track" thing. I need to see exactly what that means.

Well, I took my mod out completely and it still isn't trigering. Has to be the friend track thing. OK then as long as it isn't something that I did.

Does Alistair actually say anything about feeling bad for refusing the ritual?

No, although he should the moment he realizes that you're leaving him at the gates.

Or maybe whispering it to your sacrificed PC at the ending.  Something along the line's, "I wish I had done the ritual now, because I never realized losing you could hurt this bad."  Or something along those lines lol

Exactly. Huh another missed opportunity post-landsmeet BW. Shocking.

OK for those of you with the missing party conversation: You have to speak to him about EVERYTHING in order for the friend track to reach the appropriate point to trigger this conversation. Problem solved! Posted Image

I just played through with an unhardened Alistair (so as not to get the disapproval when I told him I was supporting Anora) and tried to convince him to do the ritual without the persuasion check and he flat out refused. Does this happen with him if he's unhardened no matter what the dialogue options? Or is there an option that will work for him?

I did like the line where he says "Just because I have the proper... bits..." though. Very cute.

If you play the love card he will agree. I'm not sure if being hardened or unhardened makes a lot of difference, I'd have to check on that. But he will do it either way with the proper choices.

Awww. I hate doing that line though - makes me feel cheap. It's the sort of thing whiny fifteen year olds say :).

Yep, he'll do it with "you know I love you right?"

I'm pretty sure his affection rating matters more than hardened/unhardened.  If you are in the friend zone, he will only agree if you use the persuade option (If you loved me, etc.). If he is in love/still in love (probably needs to be at 100) he will agree no matter what, unless you yourself say "No, I can't do this".

The dialog (almost word for word) is in my FF here, Cmessaz.  He says something like "Be careful in there" and PC can respond "We both know how this ends" then he will say "I know, I will never forget you and I will make sure no one else does too."

You can talk him into it even without persuasion check. That discussion is bit like the Landsmeet where your choices increase or decrease a hidden score which (if high enough in the end) makes him accept the deal or refuse it.

I've basically dangled the prospect in front of him then rushed him so he wouldn't have time to get cold feet -- started with 'i may have way to avoid dying' then when he asked told him it's some old magic, probably Flemeth's. Then just hit him with "we don't have time for this, just agree" and boom, one semi-convinced Alistair.  If you start getting into details like children or whatever that all counts against you because it piles on his doubts it's a good idea. That adds many points in your favor, but he will def. agree if you say "If you loved me, you would do this"

It's on a points scale. Certain answers give points, certain take them away, and when you reach pivotal points in the dialog, it depends on what the counter says.
