Would say it's combination of the armour mesh and the pose -- the arms seem to get bit thinner when they're raised like that (or maybe rotated so you get to see the side rather than front/back, it's hard to tell) and the latest version of the glass armour (the Standalone variant) does seem to have rather thin arms for some reason, compared to the earlier one.Thor Rand Al wrote...

Lmao I think it's the mod/outfit, I'm not sure. When I play again I'll change the outfit n see if I still get pencil arms lmao

Have to say it, I HATE Alistair with hair other than his. It just seems wrong. Especially Anders hair. Yes, ok, he probably wouldn't be able to maintain the cut throughout the whole of Origins unless he spent a looong time practicing hairdressing in the chantry, but he's just not Alistair without it
It's Duncan's hair.

Welcome to the "Vanillastair hair only" club! I do like Ander's hair on him though. It does feel a bit wrong, but I like to change him up each playthrough.Miri1984 wrote...

Just for the record, here is what the toolset says about Alistair if you say If you loved me you'd do this: "Not mad at all, just weary that she has used the love card."
I've never used that line on him. The one I do use is the "you know I love you Alistair" line. The If you loved me line seems a little cold and has a your backing him into a corner feel to it. More like an ultimatium to me.
Agreed. I don't use that line either. I do start off saying I love him though.
Oh I'm not arguing, I was just saying how that particular line feels to me.
Unfortunately I've had that line used on me n I've used it back. If you love me the way you say you do then you'll do what I'm asking with no questions.
That just feels wrong for me, from personal experience.

I don't think it's such a difficult haircut to maintain, really. Plus, there are entire nights spent in camps and such, it's not unlikely that he's always cut his own hair. Plus, the PC and any number of your party members could cut it for him if he can't himself

Yup I know it's Duncan's hair but it's also Anders' hair and.. well, that belongs on ANDERS. Yum.

This is why I was shocked when I heard he had refused other people- I always use that line, and Alistair always melts like butter.yukidama wrote...
Oh, I've tried it multiple times, I always have to tell him the absolute truth (as far as I or my PC knows). Unless I pick the "You know I love you" option at the beginning he refuses when I'm honest. I am guessing I lose more points than I get in that conversation or something.
It's for your own good, pal.

I like to switch him up occasionally, after so many playthroughs. It's like when your guy comes home with a completely different style. He seems like a super attractive stranger for a little while, but then you realize... hey, this IS my guy. And then it's just normal, again.

My first time of ever using this mod so I have no clue of the previous ones, but I got to say it's an interesting look, as cmes said

To each her own squee. I tried going back to Vanillastair, logged on, and immediately went back and changed it back to Maricstair.

He's certainly squee-worthy, but he's not my Alistair. I like the hazel eyes as well - I have a thing for blondes with brown eyes - it's unusual and hot.

Oh, agreed. Changing his eye color is so verboten in my game. I'm ok with Maricstair for some characters, because it's only his hair that changes.
But I can't do any version of Anderstair. That would be like Lelianigan.

I usually dislike blonde guys, and go out of my way not to date them. But Alistair won me over with his wily ways. <3
