Out of boredom I went and remade my original PS3 character... with one difference. I could not bring myself to give her the hairstyle she had originally (Flemeth's). So I gave her Morrigan's because I remember ****ing that whole game that I wish I could have hers. I even kept the light blue eyes and pink lipstick. I thought I was giving her grey eyes and peachy lipstick, my TV's colors were off ;-;

But now all HF characters besides Morrigan with this hair remind me of Surely's character. Dammit.

Did you try out tmp's tucked hairstyles mod? You could get the original hairstyle, but tucked back. It has a different feel to it and probably won't feel like Flemeth's hair anymore. Just saying in case you're still weirded out about Surely 2.0. =p

I did try the tucked version too, but it still didn't look right to me. When I gave her Morrigan!hair she looked so much better but just reminded me of Surely's Brand. I like her look though, but I am not sure she'll have as much of an affinity for naked barbarian Ali/Maricstair :P

I hear ya. The only hairstyle I have the hardest time with is the Anora hair. I associate that with her so strongly that I tend to skip over it in the CC every time. Just makes me feel like Alistair is looking at a mini-Anora, especially if I play a dwarven princess. (And Rica's got dibs on that hair for the commoner origin so once again, neither of my dwarven origins will touch that hairstyle, heh.) =p

Aside from the fact that Anora has that hairstyle... I cannot handle the two giant buns that look pasted onto the nape of the neck. What I really want is short hair with fringe... like the first plain short hairstyle with Morrigan style fringe/side part.

The ONE hairstyle with bangs...and it looks like they were trimmed with a lawnmower

Yeah, that one is just horrible, lol. I used it on my 2nd PS3 character though, I wanted fringe but didn't really have that many options. It looks like she cut it in the dark with a plastic knife and then brushed it down with glue to keep it flat and stiff.

Is it just me or does this guy look like John Travolta? And yeah, I'm way out of left field with this one. Lol

Isn't that Ser Gilmore? For more squee, there's apparently a mod which turns him into a companion, and a potential  romance interest to boot. Posted Image

Yes, I was going to get the adorable Ser Gilmore into my party to give Alistair a little competition...but alas there are voice files for him, therefore he is mute.Posted Image

THey are in the process of voice acting it now.  There are some videos on Utube with some of the acted lines.

Thanks..  I have it bookmarked.  The compatibility pages were very helpful..

Someone was asking for more Nathaniel.  Anders gets his share, so I'll comply.  And happily so.  :wizard:

I've been looking at him (it's what I do) and I think it's not his looks so much as his mannerisms and voice that are appealing.  He's got a certain light in his eyes and a kind of earnest way, I dunno.  Hard to define.

So help me Andraste, if Duncan's robe gets fleas in it, you're going up in a fireball.

It's his voice that does it.  And the way he speaks to Velanna when he's not making fun of her too much, makes me want him to speak like that to the warden.  He has a good heart and becomes dedicated to being a warden and doing good.  He foolishly believes that he could have stop his dad from doing evil, makes him sweet.  And the whole he's angry at the warden for killing his dad and angry at his dad for being evil still needs to be resolved even though he's coming to terms with it.  The potential for great tension there that makes him so hot.

Alistair got a little sexy-mad when my Brosca said we should cut Goldanna's tongue out. She wouldn't really have done it... probably.

Lol Goldanna's a ****, I really hope she's not Alistair's sister. Alistair can have the unhappiest ending out of all characters and to add Goldanna the gold digger to the mix is a shame, though to be fair she wasn't asking for herself she was asking for her children.

yea but with 15G she could buy the market district.  B*tch was USING her kids to tug at Alistair's heart strings thinking because he was a 'prince' he could buy them whatever she wanted.  She's just like everyone else in Alistair's life, using him for what they can get not seeing the man, just the gravy train they can use him to get.
In this instance "Everyone is out for themselves" is pretty much the truth.

I could never pick that line, it's too harsh.  I don't want him to become bitter and mistrustful towards everyone .  I've used the line that he didn't need her and he has others who cared for him.

He doesn't become bitter and harsh, at all. He just grows up a little, caring a little less about what others may expect and a little more about what he wants.

it doesn't change who he is, it just makes him more confident and more willing to fight for himself and his love. It forces him to evaluate his life and outlook and take off the rose colored glasses.  I took him ONCE unhardened to a Landsmeet.  I will NEVER do that again unless I am not going to make him king.  I wanted to slap Alistair and KILLLLLL Eamon.  I could also see why people say he's whiny and annoying.  Unhardened vs Hardened Alistair is never so blatant as in that scene.
Also it makes me wish I could sacrifice Eamon instead of Isolde to save Connor.  I am starting to hate him THAT much

Because it was Eamon (and to a lesser extent Isolde) who made Alistair the sadpanda unconfident boy the PC meets.  Its the PC who (may choose) to help him grow up and finally be a leader and stand up for what he wants, not just what everyone expects of him.
Sleeping wth the damn dogs indeed.  I'd love to just...GRRR don't get me started on Eamon...he's turning up in my fic soon and i just wanna kill him but NOT in my fic...Posted Image

Hmm, I have a slightly different take on Eamon's relationship with Alistair but I don't really have time to go into it now.  Out of curiosity, do you believe Eamon loved Alistair?

Edit: tops -_-
