I don't think so. SECOND in line is last in line really - since you're there and he doesn't even look at Leliana despite her promises to make a move on him if you don't get there first. I quite like that Leli and he get together in the DLC - I want Alistair to be happy and despite the fact that I end up killing him at the end it's nice to know he had a bit of joy on the road, despite his totally borked decisions otherwise.

There would have to be some kind of creative.  I hear if left uncheck it rots one's junk off.  That is a very nasty way to go out.

Screw it, I'm playing the blood mage. I can't finish Lyra thanks to the glitch that broke the camel's back. I should darned well be able to ask hardened, non king Alistair where this is going without getting the stupid king BS and - 5 approval.

The funny thing is Alistair can't land her in the normal story, even when the Warden is male.  I mean the MPC is apparently > Alistair in every possible romantic encounter with females in the game. 

I kind of wish there was a way to set him up with her if the PC isn't romancing her... seems sad for the Warden to be getting all kinds of action while Alistair is stuck playing with his action figure.

My PC is dead, and she and Alistair never fell in love.  So I can hardly get jealous, now can I?

And I know Alistair says good riddance.  I always rp him as after a little time and hindsight being really, realy grateful.

I actually agree with you. If I was a male PC, I would be trying to set him up with Leliana, since obviously we wouldn't be together and I don't normally romance Leliana.

But but in all seriousness, I think they go well together. I would have liked Alistair and Leliana getting together if the Warden was male and not romancing Leliana (because he is smart and will go for Morrigan). I am all for inter-companion romance, as it fleshes out their personality more and makes it less like the camp getting in line to be picked by your PC.

I thought you could ask hardened pre-Landsmeet Alistair where this was going and while I don't know if he approves, he doesn't disapprove and even agrees if you say that you're not letting him go or that all tht matters is that you love each other. That's what happened to my DC, at least, even though she let him end it post-Landsmeet.

Boring!  It would be so much more fun if there was competition!  Although I can just imagine the forum posts crying if the PC actually "lost" their romance of choice.  Actually reading that would be pretty entertaining, so I guess that's another plus

If they make really good looking non-romanceable characters, people would complain as well.

The problem is I didn't make him king. I let Anora have it. But if I ask where he sees it going I get the "you know where it's going I'm going to be king" which has completely ruined my immersion on the character. She's Dalish, was taken from her clan, and didn't make him king because the GW are HIS clan.

The -5 was from telling him he owed me I think, in the conversation before that...as flirt as he is when he responds to that, I'm rather surprised there's an approval loss.

Wow, a lot to catch up on today!

I think tmp mentioned this, but if I equip armor in camp to anyone, the bonuses don't usually work. I have to equip it when we're out in the field. If I've forgotten & equipped it in camp, I either have to take it off and put it back on, or I have to take it off, save, restart the game, and then equip it again.
