Atoneing is good! Do me a favor, yukidama if you would, post the epilogue card you get here to make sure it worked. Thanks sooo much I just can't do that to him.

Yup, Anora asked what would happen with me, since she knew Cailan had his women on the side and she wants to know if another husband of hers would have eyes that 'lie elsewhere'. I actually felt a bit bad for her there. :x And if any more women come into this equation someone's getting a chastity belt...

Yes, I must atone lol. I've also spared Loghain and had him executed with this character.... I may have shed a tear or three. She also ends up queen, so thank god none of them know what I've been getting up to!

Sadly, she's doing it to test my new dialogue slides. That is the only one I hadn't tested yet. I find it more satisfying to tell her to ****** off right away, then call her a b**ch at the landsmeet.

cmessaz, do you what happens to the character Alistair after he leaves at the Landsmeet? I mean, there must be some flag that tells the epilogue to fire his kkthxbyby card. Characters that don't romance Alistair don't get to know what happened to him, do they?



Just wondering if they could technically bring drunk!Alistair back.

I'll check on that, I'm not sure. I don't remember seeing one for him, when I spared Loghain and became king.

I married him off to Anora on DEF previously. I figure if he's got to be in a political marriage, Anora is a known quantity, and they can all go into the arrangement with eyes open. Not sure if I'll do it this way again.

I love calling her a bytch at the Landsmeet but I also like to spice things up a bit, change things around now and then.  I wish the game would come up with new dialogue choices after you've exhausted all the other one's.  I know that's impossible but it be nice.

Like I was saying yesterday/last night, I hope they haven't dumped the romance pack idea's.  That would so add more to the game.  Definitely change it around a little.

I'm starting a new CEF with a completely opposite personality from my first.  The first was completely in your face, alienage sucks, humans suck, etc...  This one is gonna be a very sweet girl who is very upset Nelaros gets daeded.

Mine fell for Nelaros, too.  Wore the wedding ring the whole game until she fell for Zevran.  And she couldn't look at Alistair in that way, not after what she'd been through- actually had Vaughn flashbacks with him at first, though it quickly comes out that he's more Soris than Vaughn.

Yeah.  Know the elf mage in charge of the store room?  Her robes are the same as Wynne's, but way prettier.  I really like the way the set you get from Irving looks.  It looks nice with my elf's red hair, oddly enough.

And my first CEF, Anya, was such a hard ass with Alistair...right up until the first AD nightmare.  Then she was like 'OH CRAP! thisisrealomgwhatamigonnado!'  She was still a hardass to everyone else, but she was suddenly very, very nice to Alistair.

klarabella: It looks like that dialogue should fire if Alistair was exiled, whether you romanced him or not. But I don't remember seeing it with my HNM. Is it not firing right? I honestly don't see why it shouldn't. Or are you thinking of editing it?

Hahaha! Oh trust me, it's tempting, but I'd be going off-tangent with my elven mage's RP if I did that. xD And I'm afraid of my game breaking. Apparently Wynne catches on on the whole blood magic thing after you save the circle, and if you have low persuasion everyone in the room attacks you. No support from mages/templars prevents you from advancing later on in the game, I think. Unless someone's come up with a fix for that.

Mine didn't but kept her ring on until there was something else to fill in the slot, which took some time. But that's talking game mechanics. I like to imagine she wore it all the time, to honor Nelaros' sacrifice, even if she wasn't too keen on the whole marriage thing.

Yes, it is cringe-worthy, but if you're going to do a mistress ending, it's going to happen sooner or later. So you have to take your pick, Anora or Bimbo Bannorn.

No, I only wanted to know if it's tied to the romance, apparently it isn't. I thought I read something like that on the forums some time ago. I was wondering if there's hope to play that ending in future expansions and see him again.

Sure, editing could be fun, I could hint at the AMWT storyline.

That only happens if you enable that scene using Dialogue Tweaks mod.  I was a little disappointed actually, I wouldn't have minded the rumble.  LOL

Well, my CEF made the mistake of telling Nelaros that she was nervous until she saw him. He has a heart-melting line in response.  And when Soris told her that it was Nelaros who knocked heads together to organize her rescue, that sealed it.  Of course, that made her all the more screwed up later on when she saw him die.

Oh yes you can cmessaz!!!!  Trust me on that.....he's much, much happier, especially considering the info you find in Return to Ostagar....notes being passed between Empress Celene and King Cailan....Anora apparently not being able to produce an heir......At least you can STILL have fun with Alistair as his mistress....the boy's finally found his match and you can't do that to him? o_O

The elf name thing is because you're doing too much Alistair Dialogue tweaking to think straight for elven names....  trust me on this....I have a hard time too and I'm not doing dialogue......remember Lord of the Rings?  Think that way and maybe something will turn up then....

Yes, in my only game where I made Anora sole ruler, she just made Alistair swear fealty.  He was unhardened so he did that in a heartbeat.  I was more upset about it than he was.  Never did that again.  I might be prejudiced from liking book Maric so much, but Alistair is just meant to be king in my view.

In truth, if I'm not a human noble and I intend to make him king, I dump him or allow him to dump me after the landsmeet. I can't stand to be his mistress. Just a personal preference.
