MEANIE!
Don't laugh when I say, I know a very disturbing fic about Alistair's pending execution. VERY disturbing, very sad, very cruel, very dark. Makes you want to hug him for being so brave.
Was that the one on swooping_is_bad? Seek No Counsel?

But this is considered a dark game and were not going to all get the happily ever after ending we want. I've come to terms with that, I'm happy with what I do get, but I'm still not ready to let my character's story end though lmao.

I am holding out hope that we get an heir somehow out of Cousland female/Alistair Royal couple via magical means. Come on we need a good storyline continuation from Bioware, please.
This route can only end in tears and heartbreak. Look at the hoops you have to jump through to just survive together. If BW gave Queen Cousland a wee Bryce Duncan Theirin, either she or Alistair would end up assassinated or exiled or maimed or frozen in carbonite.
Not to mention- very unfair to non-HNs.
It could happen via 'Divine' means, not so much Blood Magic. Then it would be truly miraculous - I'm certain the Chantry would approve

Yes. Seriously, warning. Use extreme caution.
Okay, remember when I said I liked pain? Yeah, I bookmarked that. *sighs*

For now, at least. Who knows what curveball BioWare has planned (if they plan on continuing your Warden in the sequels at all :////////)

Ok, it's strangely reassuring to know you've bookmarked it. I was afraid I might be seriously soft in the head.

I found it lacking too but still the Dalish is my favorite origin and I blame that to Lenya. Her character grew in my head day by day, making the gaming a lot more worthwhile, until I eventually started to write this FF with her. Going back and forth with my plot and OC made it clear to me that they really wasted so much potential with this origin. There is so much more to it they frankly don't show. Her being ripped away from the only world she has known, lost everything, thrown into the strange humans world and forced to work together with the 'enemy' (human) to stop the evil threathen all. Pretty powerful stuff IMO. Though BW didn't deliver that well enough. Also what for a big step it must be for her to trust Alistair or anyone in her group again. Or this Romeo and Juliet feeling when she is romancing Alistair with little, tiny babysteps. That we aren't allowed to be because my clan would abondon me for it- thingie. D'aaaw.cmessaz wrote...
Have you finished a playthrough as a Dalish?! How disappointing. Especially if you don't die!
As for my FF I really try to give this origin the emotional depth it deserves. At least in my eyes.

LOL I am at the doors right before the Archdemon. I accidentally clicked on Alistair and he's asking me my thoughts on our companions. Really? You couldn't have asked this before? There's a giant dragon god monster thing killing people right now, if you haven't noticed
Lmao I always kiss him right there, almost like saying I love you and no matter what happens I always will, like a goodbye kiss because we don't know for sure if Morrigan's ritual will really work. I need to find the perfect song for that stage lol.

LOL DUH YOU THINK? Not that I didn't make you sleep with her and told you she wanted a demon baby and it was probably Flemeth's magic. Ahaha.

Whew. Glad I'm not the only one. I am so not a fan of slash or anything like that, but that wasn't really the point of this story. But there's something so sick and twisted and compelling about that. I just wanted to hold and love Alistair and tell him it was going to be all right.

But that is cool that you do, adds replay value. I do as well, but again, creativity of a rock here.

Yeah, I can understand not finishing it, though there are a couple of lines near the end that have a beautiful turn of phrase. Everyone who can't bring themselves to execute Alistair should read that and realize that the game ending for him is not nearly so bad by comparison.

As for the replay factor: I actually have begun from the start with her...though more for the sake of my FF to look up things. Funny thing is the most ideas come to me while playing. Lenya just find the talk choices lacking and would rather say so DIFFERENT things xD
Oh well, that's what FF is for, I take it.

No heirs, breaking up, marrying him to Anora, exile him - that's all fluff heaven compared to that.LadyDamodred wrote...
