Aye. When I watched the movie as a younger girl, I had a huge crush on David Bowie and totally wanted him to hook up with Jennifer Connelly. It was like a romance fantasy of sorts. When I saw it again as an adult, I went, "WHAT THE F IS THIS?" The way older man and the inappropriately young girl dynamic hit me like a bat. I was weirded out. I remembered how much I loved it, but the adult in me was just going ... whaaa? So I have mixed feelings about the movie. There was no romance, of course, but the goblin king just wanted her love to survive!Lady Jess wrote...

Labyrinth? Ya know I've never watched that.
lol, gilsa, I felt the same way. I completely loved this movie when I was young, and totally wanted them to be together. Then I saw it again a few years ago, and was completely weirded out. I still get some of the songs stuck in my head, and sort of wish I'd never seen it again. I feel the same way about Wuthering Heights... totally idolized Heathcliff when I was young. When I re-read it as an adult, I was like, he's such a b*stard!
Sarah - Glenn Close & Calisto FTW! Evil!!

OH, GOOD ONES, SARAH. I didn't even think of Fatal Attraction!!
Blood mage, bunny boiling...it fits. Totally! Also, she's off to a great start, -4 with Alistair for asking if he HAD to accompany me, telling him if he had a problem with my magic say so, and mand did he sound snarky when he asked if I was another mage and she asked if that would make her day worse. Huh...he didn't sound snarky to me before, and the frog comment never bothered me. Apparently this is what RP does...lol

And of course, there's the white witch, if you're looking for an evil blonde mage...
Oh she must be an arcan warrior!
I think I've got it worked out now. Though these two may hate each other by the landsmeet.

Lol, did you kill the guy in the woods?
Yep, I had an important meeting somewhere...lol
I'm not even finishing the dog quest (I have RtO so I think I can get him there). I don't want to take her too far, or it would be OOC for Zevran to care for her at all. Then again, being a shapeshifter/spirit healer/blood mage is a bit odd to start with. She'll respec after I recruit Morrigan to a Shapeshifter (because the circle forbids it), blood mage, arcane warrior.

I hate that no one tries to stop you even though you aren't the leader yet.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
I wish they actually gave some reason to kill that soldier, like to prevent morale loss for the rest of the army, or suspecting that the soldier is tainted...etc. Because as it is, it's just for the lulz.

If they fought darkspawn, he likely touched blood and was tainted. Probably a safe way to RP it.

Edit:
It wasn't too blatant. I always feel a bit awkward watching them doing ... it. It's stupid, I can write smut but can't watch a gif.

Hey! I was just about to compliment your new avatar and say how good it looks!
I'm actually quite upset about that. I quite liked my old avatar, thank you very much. But this character wiped that avatar out. I know they look almost identical...but...but....it's not the same

Hi Surely! Awww kitty and his pet Anders.
I would have linked yours, but I don't have it on my work computer and I didn't feel up to wading through the thread.
Of course, I just realized thst it's in the CC forum. Oh well, we'll hit another dead zone soon enough.
Is it terrible that I had been looking forward to this weekend as an opportunity to play my Dalish and my mage who are languishing and now I'm peeved because my boyfriend wants to do something instead? Something that doesn't involve me being tethered to my laptop for hours on end? What a jerk.

Surely, I hear you. I was pissed when I found out the weather was going to be nice. Now I feel like I have to go outside and, you know, live life. BOOOOOO!
edit: ToP and I only have one Alistair screenshot to share so far. I should have about 80 more by end of day
