Aye. When I watched the movie as a younger girl, I had a huge crush on David Bowie and totally wanted him to hook up with Jennifer Connelly. It was like a romance fantasy of sorts. When I saw it again as an adult, I went, "WHAT THE F IS THIS?" The way older man and the inappropriately young girl dynamic hit me like a bat. I was weirded out. I remembered how much I loved it, but the adult in me was just going ... whaaa? So I have mixed feelings about the movie. There was no romance, of course, but the goblin king just wanted her love to survive!

lol, gilsa, I felt the same way. I completely loved this movie when I was young, and totally wanted them to be together. Then I saw it again a few years ago, and was completely weirded out. I still get some of the songs stuck in my head, and sort of wish I'd never seen it again. I feel the same way about Wuthering Heights... totally idolized Heathcliff when I was young. When I re-read it as an adult, I was like, he's such a b*stard!

Huh...he didn't sound snarky to me before, and the frog comment never bothered me. Apparently this is what RP does...lol

Yep, I had an important meeting somewhere...lol

I'm not even finishing the dog quest (I have RtO so I think I can get him there). I don't want to take her too far, or it would be OOC for Zevran to care for her at all. Then again, being a shapeshifter/spirit healer/blood mage is a bit odd to start with. She'll respec after I recruit Morrigan to a Shapeshifter (because the circle forbids it), blood mage, arcane warrior.

I wish they actually gave some reason to kill that soldier, like to prevent morale loss for the rest of the army, or suspecting that the soldier is tainted...etc. Because as it is, it's just for the lulz.

If they fought darkspawn, he likely touched blood and was tainted. Probably a safe way to RP it.

Surely, I hear you.  I was pissed when I found out the weather was going to be nice.  Now I feel like I have to go outside and, you know, live life.  BOOOOOO!
