I would have to be starving to even contemplate eating something like that. Even then I'm pretty sure I would look to misc growing plants before cooking up a giant sea bug.

So, people talking about PayRoo commissions has made me interested to try one, but I have no idea which character I would pick.  I've put so much heart into my later games that choosing one out of them would be hard.

Well, who is the first character you imported into Awakening? You can go with who you'd choose to play first every time there's a DLC or expansion.

And don't feel limited to just one drawing. I'm entertaining the idea of getting second commission for another one of my characters (not right now though, maybe later in the summer). My first one was of Gorim and Gilsa because I wanted the focus to be on dwarf love (also symbolic of my love of dwarves overall). Now that I have that beautiful commission, I kind of want to have fun with a DN + Alistair drawing so Aimo doesn't get all the fun to herself. =p

Oddly enough I can look at giant isopods and be all "Eh, whatever." about them. But show me the tiny, terrestrial version of these things (pill bugs) and I run off screaming into the night. Ughhh. I hate insects so much. Even butterflies, lol. I have no problem with creepy sea bugs though... as long as they don't get near me.

I'm not a fan of bugs in general.  I lived in a place that got infested with bed bugs and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.  We ended up moving because of it.  They're insanely hard to get out of the building once they're in.

Pictures don't really creep me out.  I have a pretty high tolerance to icky things online.

That would be HNF, but mainly because I thought from the reviews that a Cousland would have the most carry-over in Awakening.  I like the elf-Alistair pairing better, but among my elves it would be hard to choose.  I guess her prices are good enough that I could get more than one.

I don't even want to stop and add up the amount of money I've spent on Dragon Age, including the novels, DLCs and the software I've bought for screenshots etc.  This thread has cost me real money.  LOL  Good thing it's so awesome.

And as for time... a hundred or two pages back, someone was asking how many hours you spend per game.  I looked at my saves and it looks to be 40-45 hours per game for me.  That is... an entire work week.  If I sit and think how many characters I've played, I might have to have myself 5150'ed.

Had to come in for a quick Alistair squee. This is my CE's version of him with black templar armor. For some reason I think this shot is super hot. Maybe because right after this he makes that adoreable comment about being lucky and then he walks away.

You know I don't mind bugs and rodents, or sea monsters or whatever, but I have to say that if I saw these things outside eating my garbage, I might have a heart attack.

Edit: Maybe it's just because they aren't common around here. Maybe I'd get used to them. Posted Image

Undertow and Jelly Fish freak me out. I went to VA Beach one summer, and was standing ankle deep in the waves, and suddenly I was much further from the beach than I started. I love the beach though. Well, I would if it was visible...I like walking in the edge of the water, watching the waves, finding sand dollars and shells, and photographing everything.

I haven't been to VA Beach myself but my mate says it's nice.  Nicer than the ones in RI.

My Grandfather is kind of a local legend as far as fisherman go.  He built all of his boats from scratch and always had the largest catches.  I grew up having to do heinous fish related things like catch horseshoe crabs while they were mating.  I'm pretty sure that's probably against the law now.

To this day I still think spider crabs are the grossest thing ever.

Gahhhhh...I can handle crabs but thats definitely creepy! We have dungeness up here, they aren't bad at all to look at. I found a baby one.

Sand fleas?  That's what we always call em.

No, these were huge like the size of a silver dollar.  I don't know if they're technically a bug or a crab.  They looked like a giant flea though.

I loath sand fleas.  I accidently stepped into a nest and got swarmed as a child.  I had bites all over my legs.

Maybe it was one of these :P
