Does the Alistair-dwarf kiss involve Alistair holding your head still? I really hate that about the Zevran kiss. It just comes off as sort of patronizing to me, although I'm sure no one from the people who animated it to Zevran himself actually meant it that way.

Okay, good. It's just...what is with the bizarre need to smoosh your face? Is it really necessary? And maybe he should ask first beause while some find it endearing it could also abruptly kill the mood.

Funny note aside: My friend who never had played DA before, visited me and watched me playing for a while. So far so boring, though she had the joy of hearing Isolde speak, while I was in Redcliffe and was asking out of the blue:

"Who is that woman with the annoying voice?"

She *dry*: "Aha. Can you kill her?"
Meri: "Yes, I could...later on.
She: "Then DO IT! She is annoying."

Perhaps he suffers from high frequency deafness ....from having certain tones repeated over and over till he has lost the ability to hear them anymore.

Is saving him a persuade check? If so you could just fail that so your character tried to save him but Anora wouldn't listen.

Perhaps Bioware should send some clips of Isolde talking and use it to torture prisoners at Gitmo, or wherever their next torture camp will be located.

Honestly though, it is smart to kill him if you are Anora. It is cruel but she needs to secure her throne. Alistair should be strong enough to do the same.

He is an older gentleman, afterall, and he did say something to that effect whenever I informed him I got Alistair & Anora engaged.

On a side note: It's nice that you can sacrifice Isolde and circumvent Alistair's *****fest at camp by saying "I think that went well, don't you?" I guess he didn't mind sacrificing Isolde to save her son when you put it that way.
