And I am losing my mind trying to keep everyone alive at redcliffe with no healing. I keep coming this close and then one fool dies.

If Lloyd's 'you mean there are dwarves that AREN'T smiths' didn't ****** me off already then trying to keep him alive most certainly will. He thinks he has plot immunity or something but he doesn't! I have to keep my eye on him he whole time and if he lives then I can be reasonably sure everyone else did, too.



And I hope you can figure that out. That sounds like a mess.

I know that the one female voice I can't stand is the first one on the list. I didn't bother changing it yesterday when I recreated my character so I could manually take some pictures for the commission but DAMN did her voice get on my nerves for the twenty or so minutes I had to put up with it.

Basically, just write whatever makes you happy and if other people complain they've seen the pairing before it's only becase other people love it as much as you do and the complainer has been reading those kinds of stories too.

speaking of Aeducan stories I am reading 'Of a Kind.' that is a cute story
and just thanks for the encouragment it really helps the confidence of a writer, seriously

sadly I don't have that much free time to sit in front of a screen and a lot of stories



and the human male cocky voice is my favorite it really helps with my mage's personality; he has a bit of a cocky personality and is a womanizer, I wonder how many girls I can get him to kiss in the game..

female sultry for both elf and human is actually voiced by the same woman but I kinda wish they had a cute voice for dwarf

Lloyd's hiding out in his tavern.  My PC hasn't gotten to the point where she's threatening people with death.  It's pissing me off b/c I've done it before and it's just not working this time and I'll be damned if I don't get it now.

I wish there were a way to silence everything but the grunting noises, haha. I mean, the character should make noise when fighting or getting injured. They just shouldn't make smartass comments all the time. It's annoying when they're comments directed at the player, at least when NPCs do the same it can be written off as the PC giving them orders :/

Experienced is the one I am using on my current elf. It is the only one I don't silence.

Oh, I love 'Of a Kind.' With my story I'm trying to keep in mind all the things a dwarf would find weird about the surface and then I get to that story and I'm like 'yeah, they might not know they can walk on grass. Alistair might need Morrigan to preserve that rose or it would be wilted by the time he gave it to her. And Ostagar probably wouldn't sell any dwarven armor since she's apparently the only dwarf there.' And the chapter where Alistair is trying to figure out what the deal is with Gorim and Leliana drags him away from that reunion...I liked how they described Gorim's reaction rather than his trying to get rid of you in canon and offering a discount not two minutes after letting you know you're now single because he's married. Who even does that?!?!

I had blue on my dark blonde PC but didn't like it so I made them grey.

You can make any eye color into a Mary Sue color. For example... ~she had eyes of the deepest caramel, which glittered like pieces of dark amber in the afternoon sun~... or something.

You know whats really funny when King Calian talked to my Maya Brosca and he mentions stout folk
I just had this image of my Maya screaming "Who are you calling a peewee midget dwarf?!?"

and does Ser Cauthrien say "Stay quiet you child?" I could have sworn she said that and I had an image of a twitching noble girl...


Edit: Hmmm if it helps I gave two of my wardens purple eyes...eye color is eye color....I think when its multi color that's when its a Mary-Sue or Marty-Stu

I was thinking more 'colors not found in nature' as the obvious MS choice so that rules out orange, yellow, and violet and then green is rarer. Most blondes w/out brown eyes have blue, right? Still, I don't think I've come across many grey-eyed MS.

I thought it was funny when Cailan waxes poetic about dwarven ale and you know he's never tried it because all those who can afford it import their alcohol from the Surface.

I think what Cauthrien said was 'churl' which is a medieval way of saying peasant. Still, at least it wasn't a crack about my height.

speaking of ale I finally got Oghern to 100 friendly with me.....my Warden needs more of that ale, my only regret is that I didn't take screenshots of that moment, I felt proud of myself.

I got so annoyed the one time I got that conversation. Gorim was not the DN's personal bootlicker and no amount of 'my CE doesn't even know these people' made me less mad at him.  I just wish there could have been an option for him to start saying that in a DN game and you could smack him for that. I mean, I love Oghen but I  Gorim more.  Getting Oghren to 100 friendly took several playthroughs and I finally realized it was a lot easier if I talked Branka into suicide as that got  +7 and the best you can hope for when you kill her is -3 and unless you ask Oghren if he wants anything from Caridin you get -10.

I think being called a child would be wors because that implies that you're so short that they mistook you for a child instead of just being not as tall as everyone else.

I almost never go back to camp anymore and since I usually do Redcliffe last I got back after the Landsmeet one time with Loghain in my party only to have him immediately channel poor, married-to-Anora Alistair and thank me for saving the Arl's family that he endangered in the first place. It was quite bizarre.

AHA!!!!!  It was that looping thing, my little Fraps snafu.  Naturally it had to be all down to user error.  <_<  I was holding down the capture key too long, so the program does 30-second recordings on a loop until you press capture again to restart the loop.  When I just lightly tapped it, I got a regular video again.

This time I re-did the swooping kiss in a little more scenic venue, and chose a couple of different responses for variety's sake.

And She wants to join the wardens, and told Duncan this. Man is he annoyed at the circle/chantry. First time I've talked to him in his room and man he is ticked.
