AHA!!!!!  It was that looping thing, my little Fraps snafu.  Naturally it had to be all down to user error.  <_<  I was holding down the capture key too long, so the program does 30-second recordings on a loop until you press capture again to restart the loop.  When I just lightly tapped it, I got a regular video again.

The Alistair-elf-smoochfest is back in business.

This time I re-did the swooping kiss in a little more scenic venue, and chose a couple of different responses for variety's sake.

 i was lucky with my CE sort of, i'd usually sneak ahead with the party left on hold behind, so when Sten thing triggered it was pretty much just him and my elf, and rest of party ran in all panicked afterwards, Wynne spamming heals and whatnot. Otherwise yeah, awkward
