Just for the lulz.

Eamon: And now we make Alistair king.
PC: Have you ever thought about what Alistair wants?
Eamon: It is his duty. For the Therein bloodline.
PC: No. *slaps him* Try again.

Sweet, I want lmao

Then again if you're a mage you can ask for more autonomy for the Circle (or if you're a mage who dies Alistair or Anora grant it) and the Templars are still hunting Anders' butt down.

That would be great.  I really had that speach of Eamons.  I also hate his self righteous obviously implying himself as the person Alistair should seek advisement from speach before the Landsmeet.

Yes, I imagine he thinks he treated Alistair so kindly. Making him sleep in stables and throwing him to the Chantry when he marries an obnoxious cow. What a magnificent father figure

Just because I have 12 pages to wade through and you can never have too much Alistair or Teagan love.

*Edited* Okay holy crap just read Lady's post above me and this pic comes opportunely...

That...that helps a little.  ( ._.)

Yeah, none of the boons stick.  In theory only romances stuck but even that was pretty iffy in Awakening.  Everyone that romances Zev or Leliana really got the shaft.  I don't understand why they cut the letters out of the game.  It didn't seem like a time consuming or reasource consuming way to keep with the whole rp aspect.

The cameo of Alistair or Anora while nice are kind of silly in a way.  It would take a least a day to march from Denerim to Amaranthine and they just turn around after talking for a bit and head on back.

Reporting in- DE did not turn the romance on with the "my home is now with the Grey Wardens, with you" talk.  Ali is at 43 Warm and still giving friendly responses.
He's going to get a little warmer before long, of course.

And Alistair's friendly responses are sometimes sexier than the "in love" ones.  What is up with that?!  His "Something on your mind?" is pure velvet.  Hearing it makes the mouse sort of automatically hover over "Has anyone told you how handsome you are?" and click itself.

He throws him in the Chantry when his son is born.  I have a feeling that's a worse string than if it was when he just met Isolde.

They should have tried again on the "Something you need my dear" thing, while it's an alright line, the acting of it isn't great. His "Something on your mind" is ace.

Ugh. Yep I had so many WTF moments with Eamon. Not so many as with Isolde but still...it suffice. I rather would have let him sleep his fairy tale disney sleep and that Teagan handled the further matter. Power hungry idiot. <_<

While I enjoy playing Awakening for the story itself, it was a total

I loath Isolde beyond words.  I actually hate her more than Eamon.  I think they deserve each other.  The only one I pitty is their child, the poor kid gets swept up in their stupidity through no real fault of his own.

Though it does seem like before Isolde that Eamon treated Alistair better.  When he speaks to Wynne of Cailan he mentions actually being in the keep during that time.  When you go to the shop in Denerim he talks about Eamon buying him a golem doll.

Ironically Eamon is in a pretty powerful position he could of married any Bann's daugher he wanted.  Why he picked that nasty Orleasian cow I'll never understand.

I hear that.  I was disappointed I couldn't just have Zev poke him with a pointy object and deal with Teagan.

My favorite is "Yeeeees?" It's such a natural switch- kind of flirty but still closer to friendly than outright romantic.

I suspect Vigilance will reappear in future games. They did say the sword kept getting more powerful which is a good way to have it change stats and possibly appearance between games while still maintaining that it is the same sword.

I know this isn't going to happen but you know what would be really kewl.  In a future game you start out as the child of hero warden/wardens, (unsuspecting to us now, we somehow had a child lol.) Anyways one of our quests is to find our parents sword.  And as were searching for said sword were also learning our parents history.

Oh, oh I see a story unfolding here Posted Image.  Lets say that somehow we were able to concieve a child and due to the taint we were never able to see this child fully grow up.  So said child grows up not really knowing their parents.  But they hear about a sword that their parents had used in one of their adventures.  So here you are as child searching for this sword your also learning more about your parent/parents and somehow you end up following in their footsteps, maybe becoming a Warden yourself lol.  Ok I know that's prob a little out there but it gives me an idea for a good story if i ever decided to do 1 lol.

Is that an opinion or is it in the toolset that way?  If opinion I heartily agree.  Much nicer than the pre dialog tweak I installed (Something you need my dear) UGH.  At least now he says "My love" when I click him.  Guess it will do.

Opinion. The alistair patch mod doesn't go over well for me because of the dialogue changes.

My biggest WTF moment with Eamon came ironically not from Eamon himself but from Alistair. When I was out to rescue Queen B.(itch) and crossed the palace courtyard Alistair told me calmly that Eamon brought him once here...and let him sleep in the courtyard... by the dogs.

Lenya was like WTF?

It took all my willpower to not return to the estate immediately and go princess slice on Eamon. :pinched:

I like it for no other reason than I finally get to kiss Alistair instead of having his arms poke through my chest and doing his camp interaction when its tent time for the first time.  Yea that ONE reason lol
