Lloyd: the NPC in the game who manages to be equally insulting to elves and dwarves. Well, I'd consider him more insulting since he assumes you must be a smith but I'd imagine the 'are you a runaway' might tick some people off. Still, he's nicer than many are about it.Addai67 wrote...
In addition to my Alistair-elf smooch series, I've been making some videos of the Dalish-specific dialogues in the game. There seem to be a lot on YouTube of the origin and of Nature of the Beast, but not so many on the other little bits you get. Anyway, if anyone's interested I made one of a couple little Dalish-specific dialogue options you get in Redcliffe tavern with Berwick and Lloyd.

This is Cailan.

This is Alistair.
Can't argue over taste.
But yes, can agree on the warrior hair.

Heh, Lloyd's an idiot but you have to feel a bit of a soft spot for him when he says (if he survives the battle) "the men respect me now." I think that little interaction with him is interesting, though. It shows that alienage elves really are walled up and considered off the reservation if they leave, and also that the Dalish are practically considered mythical. You get that from the CE origin, too, where people are debating their existence.Sarah1281 wrote...

I mean, this guy? A bucket could not contain my drool. This is from The 13th Warrior.

But I guess if you think of the Roman warriors, they kept their hair short.

Aragorn has his hair long...and doesnt' Legolas basically have Cailan's hair?
Aragorn and Legolas are two of my specific exceptions to the hair rules.
Also, shorter hair is more hygenic, which is why I'd expect to see it with Romans.

Legolas looked like he was on a quest to find the shampoo of doom though. And Aragorn only bathed for Elrond's council and his own coronation.
Love your art, by the way.

It's a dazip, so you should either use daupdater.exe or else one of the mod managers like DAModder. That's the mod manager I generally use, I think it is easier except I use DAO Modmanager if I'm tweaking Natural Bodies.Mel_Redux wrote...
