BULIWYF!  The 13th Warrior is one of the favourite movies of my husband. It's the only one he will actually watch in English ... and recite entire passages from it. Can you draw sounds?

Regardless of gender, Amell is the human mage last name and Surana is the elf mage.

I actually kind of like the sound of Buliwyf Brosca. But then, I'm a fan of alliteration.

Edit: Oh, and yes, the dwarf origins themselves are both amazing even if you can't get them past Ostagar. And they even have shorter arms now!

:wub: I love the movie (Antonio Banderas!) and the book, although the book was pretty much completely different. 

I'm pretty much a sucker for movies with long-haired men. Brad Pitt in Legend of the Falls, Ewan McGreggor in Velvet Goldmine, Johnny Depp in... well, anything Johnny Depp is in. And of course, Viggo! He can be hot and dirty anytime, I don't mind

That 'sample' long-hair for Calian a few posts back was really a mullet, and not a long hair style. Mullets don't  count as long hair, no matter how long that tail grows. It's nearly as bad an abomination as Eamonghainistair!

It isn't the origins that I don't like. I actually haven't done the commonor but have played through the noble, and it was great. I am told it is disappointing afterwards though. I don't like the Dalish because there isn't enough later in the game.

Ok, after seeing all the awesome Syl posted, and all the other awesome art, I made the plunge and ordered myself "drawing for dummies" kit with pencils, book, etc, and a few extra things. Pencil and marker really appealed to me, plus I've had a Wacom Intuos3 for years so...here's hoping. Of course I ordered on a holiday weekend, as always...lol

I didn'tfind anything disappointing with my DNF playthrough at all. I loved her epilogue slides.

I want to go through the game with a Brosca, I am waiting for tmp's fix to be released though. I've made so many Aeducans but I can't get into that origin at all.

The Dalish is annoying because it's a different tribe. For the DN, you run into Gorim in Denerim, of course, and get a reunion. Once you actually return you know both candidates for King quite well and Bhelen's dialogue, especially, is completely different if you're a DN. Many people recoginze you or you can introduce yourself as Princess DN Aedeucan and they respond. Everyone in the Diamond Quarter, Harrowmont's House, and the Palace has a special DN-only line to give you and I like the post-coronation conversation with Gorim.

For the DC, people recognize you when you return to Dust Town and wiping out the carta has some extra meaning. You have a sister who you get a lot of dialogue with and have special DC-dialogue with both candidates although especially with Bhelen. I liked the integration for both, actually, and felt it was far more than the DE or mage got and there was more than the CE got just because Orzammar is longer.

It's nearly as bad an abomination as Eamonghainistair!

Because of the arms or because you don't like being a princess? The DN and HN were the two most gut-wrenching for me just because of the circumstances Duncan recruits you in. In I had been able to get invested in the DE origin and gave a damn about the clan that would have been equally sad but for the DC origin everyone's like 'we'll be fine, go', for the mage origin Jowan already left and you don't have any other friends so why not go, and for the CE origin if you keep Soris safe he's like 'I'll miss you but go' and so does Shianni. With the HN your family is dead and you can't go back and with the DN origin you can't go back as they throw you out and if it weren't for the Blight you couldn't ever return there again.
