It is awsome. Wow, I feel so sorry for my own character, it is perfect and will help me get into her even more.LadyDamodred wrote...

Sent. I *think* I could pop it up on ff.net without breaking rules, since nothing actually happens in it, but not sure. I can try, with your permission of course, and hope it doesn't get yanked.
Well, read it first and lemme know. This might not be at all what you envisioned.
Alistair read the story, too, and now he is a sad panda.

Don't sweat it. The discussion has come up before and it will come up again. Both sides make good points.
I was a big fan of always making Alistair king, regardless of the cost to my PC, until my mage up and kidnapped him to go with her to the GW. I was all "Natea, what are you doing?" Ah well. They'll be happy.

Is that the one you discussed on Errant Knight's board, Lady D?

Huhuhuhu. Now I just need a title.
syl: nope, it's one I just wrote for cmess. A sort of origin for her char. I'ma pop it up on ff.net and I'll link.

I'm sorry too for flaring up. I am one of those who DOES get hot under the collar when people refer to the mistress as Alistair's "piece on the side" like she's a casual fling. I'm sure it will be brought up again before the thread eventually dies.

heh well I'm thinking it will end when DA2 comes out and we find out its 30 years from the current game time and Alistair/PC have done the DeepRoads tango...And a new generation must take care of the next big bad.

Is it Vaughan-worthy tragic? or something else entirely? (the mature rating?)

Oddly enough, I'm kind of hoping for this. Otherwise, you just know that the PC will either tragically vanish, randomly end up in, say, Orlais even though they're Queen/Chancellor/Teyrna/whatever and that makes no sense, or their life will otherwise be ruined just as it was at the end of their origin. Is a little happiness after having their life implode and then ending the Blight really too much to ask for?sylvanaerie wrote...

Agreed. I love my characters, but I think DA2 will have to involve new blood. I would gladly be wrong if it meant more Aistair and Zevran, but I'm unsure of how they could make that story work. I'll give the writers their due and say it's possible, but we shall see.

Ummm, worse? *is unsure how to describe it*. I swear, that man made Vaughan look like a model citizen.
I know, huh? Thank you for the review.
