Though i´m not sure if Alistair and Cailan are really brothers, I still suspect Loghain of being Cailans TRUE fatherB)

Well, Alistair and Cailan do look alike.  And whatever faults Loghain had, I cannot see him and Rowan cheating on their spouses to carry on an illicit love affair.  They had something, but they ended it.

Agreed.  Cailin and Alistair look too much alike for Loghain to have sired Cailan (ICK!)

Yes, I use a little program called face replacer to extract the mor-files, then edit them as much as I can. That's why it's reduced to things like hair style, colors and textures, the facial structure is too cryptic to change. Sometimes I experiment a little and copy the data from other characters and then load them in-game but the results aren't very satisfying. That's not as good as changing a character you built with the toolset because you'd need an mrh-file to do that but the changes are good enough for tweaking older characters that you are fed up with.

Toolset noob question: how can you SEE a .mor face in the toolset?? Or do you just edit the data from the morph?

You can only edit the data. It's fine when you liked the face but want to make minor changes. If you want to change more than colors and textures you have to start from the scratch and export the morph. You can still link it to the savegame but your character will probably look nothing like before.

*grumbles* I wanted to redo the eyes, but that will be hard this way.  Thanks for the info!

This would only be an issue w/ band new characters.  I'm trying to make a test character for something else and my Wight's Touch isn't spawning.  I'm going to see if I can put in command console lines into the script.

I made a character recently that uses Wights Touch, had no problems. But that wasn't the last version, I think that was the first version without the helm. Yesterday I installed the newer version and the helm spawned in my inventory without problems.

Arizona does not recognise daylight savings time, so we go back and forth between mountain and pacific. Not sure which we are now.

Ah, I see.  So your time never changes, but what zone you're aligned with does.  That's awfully confusing.

Ok I decided to test it out, used your newest version (ser_wt_v1_2), created new character and its NOT spawning this time

I already deleted v1_1 so I cant try that one for you....

I'm honestly not sure why that is happening.  I am working on some kind of fix right now though and will have it out asap.

The other 2 armors arent spawning either (high dragon robe and the light armor)

I always uncheck them before creating a new character, then make a save and then check the ones I can use.

A lot of them I do as well, but her script (at least her old one) will allow the items to be spawned on a load, which means it did not need to be unchecked.
But if it didn't work for you, then it won't work for me. Hmmmm, I think she might be on to something now though.

I'm not sure what the exact problem was but I'm adding a console command that will work in both Origins and Awakening. If it doesn't spawn normally than you can use the console to add the armor. If you want additional sets you'll be able to use the console to spawn as many as you like.



I'll let everyone know when the new DAzips are out. It will take me a bit as I'm having to deal w/ some real life stuff atm.

That's what I'm feeling too!! I think it's going to be Zevran all the way, this time around.

He's the only one out of the companions that "gets" the Dust Town mentality, and knows you had to do what you had to do to survive, I think, anyway. I can't bring myself to romance Alistair on dusters, unless they're somehow softer and/or ****ed over from Dust Town still, but I sort of don't like playing RESCUE ME types.

ugh, I could never play a 'rescue me' type. I like my characters strong, and smart as a whip. I don't think Alistair would really get where she's coming from -- he already doesn't really like her, with what she's done and the responses she's given. Zev & Sten seem to like her the most -- Sten surprisingly so. I don't think I've ever had his approval go up so fast.

I can't play a 'rescue me' type either. I haven't even personally experienced the companions breaking you out of Fort Drakon because the idea of just sitting in a cell waiting for someone else to save me is just...I don't care how amusing the ruses to get in are, the whole thing is too abhorrent to me.

It depends on my character. My human mage...she won't want to burst loose with the magic in there, if she as a GW can BE put in prison in the first place...whats to stop templars from seizing her. Jaina on the other hand is bolder, she'll use blood magic to escape, and not thing twice about it. Tryna willof course bang heads together to get  out, not like she hasn't been there before...she's pretty calm about bars.

Anyways, Loghain always gives me the impression he had deserved some happiness in the arms of a beautiful girl (or guy). He lacks relationships, I think.

I wish he and Rowan had married, and Maric had married his lovely elf girl..............
