That's not really a fair comparison though. This thread is pretty young compared to others and it came after the visits from the writers dried up. They're active in other forums, but not this one as much. Alistair has been addressed plenty of times in other threads, but what is a writer going to respond to in here? The sex screenshots? Alistair as an unicorn? Alistair with manboobs? This forum isn't even viewable to the public -- requires being logged in, which is why I suspect we get away with so much unsupervision.
Doesn't that reflect the maturity level of this thread hence why no writer bothered?

I'm campaigning for Moobistair to be a canon character in DA2. Writer feedback would be appreciated.

And I was thinking about how you could do Redcliffe last and thus not find out about Alistair being a prince until you've been travelling together for nearly a year. That's fine if you're just friends but if you're in a relationship? That just strikes me as a horrible thing to do. He knows exactly what he's getting himself into but she doesn't. I think she has a right to know that no matter what happens between them he might still end up having to dump her if he ends up King and, until Anora shows up, that seems the only possible outcome. I know he wants to be sure she's not just after him for his blood but it's really unfair to her to let her fall in love without making her fully aware of the risks.
Does that bother anyone else? One of my characters even broke up with him over it because that was kind of important information and she couldn't believe he would keep that from her and let her get blind-sided with the 'oh, and Alistair is going to be King' thing.

That was my blood mage's setup, but I re-started her game like 4 times to get her set up how I wanted. It was super fun, though, and the two specs do work well together because you're not relying solely on mana and because the shield helps keep you from dying as you work the BM. I think people exaggerate its OPness, but you're a pretty kickass damage dealer, that's for sure.Lady Jess wrote...
I completely forgot about that staff. Thank you! I think I can make AW/Spirit Healer work, it's blood mage/AW that seems to not do it for me.
I just can't see my blood mage wearing white and blue. It looks ok on my other mage, Caislyn.

I've also just finished the mage Origin twice, and trapping Jowan, you ARE rewarded by Irving, with the GW recruitment. He set it up with Duncan! Pretty effin awesome. And I think Gregoir annoys Duncan...

The artist is DestinedtoRock who at least used to show up on the SiB IRC, LD. If you see her, you could ask her if you could use it.
I remember being there the night she drew that.

I've never waited that long to go to Redcliffe, so I don't know. It's hard to judge since that's the way he has to break it to you, but it doesn't seem like something he would do. :x If I had to work it out, I'd say it's b/c when you're hiding something that big, and it really does get worse the longer you wait, it gets harder and harder to come clean.
I don't know what a character romancing him would do. It depends on the char.
