A Cousland? Nobility? Having a frickin' barbarian's tattoo? Lol no. I struggle with make up too, and have weird mental images of wardens putting on lipgloss in the deep roads between the deep stalkers and darkspawn slaying.

Thats why we needed a human barbarian origin!

I like bright eyes...

I don't mind bright eyes and such, but what annoys me is tattoos on races/origins that wouldn't have tattoos.

BTW: my day job is as frippery and fabulous as it gets, but for my DA experience I prefer a little realism. Jesus I wore make to the gym for combat training and the sweat made it run everywhere, so LOLNO.

Yeah, I cannot justify tattoos on HNs.  I even had a hard time on my CEM, but it was doable while my HNs were not.

I know people have HN PCs with tattoos, and that's fine.  I am speaking from a purely RP perspective that for a Cousland to have a tattoo is verboten.

Mine got hers during the blight...lol no she didn't have it in her origin. Her parents are probably rolling over in the fade.

I don't mind a small tat on my Cousland if I am rping her as a bit of a rebel. She probably got into trouble for it. My current one that hasn't uploaded STILL as no tats, because she was a perfect little noble girl.

My problem is that it's on the FACE!  Like, I could totally rp a tat if you're a rebel, it's just that I can't rp one on a face.

I would do it! But I guess it is just personal preference.

Broscas are the youngest out of all the Origins FYI, so you can get away with a younger looking warden.

*frowns*  How would we decide that?  I thought age was pretty much up to you to decide.

I think this could be done by replacing the body file the same way those underwear mods do.  Sadly I think everyone shares the same body file so, like if you put a tattoo on yourself as a human female any naked human female would have it too.

That makes me feel better then x

I can't give my characters tattoos unless it is part of the lore, so Dalish and DC. I gave an Aeducan a face tattoo once but I didn't keep that character either <_<

UGh is there a mod that fixes massive armor on HUMAN females the way it does on elves? And does it even work on templar style armor?

because Rica is basically around her early twenties, no one wants an older noble hunter after all...

Symettrical massive is what I use for my human females.

The royal "we" made me lulz.

Rica is older then you for one, and she's a courtesan noble hunter. That pegs her at late 20s at the most, and even then she's pushing it. I RP her as 22, just a little older then Bhelen.

You're the youngest sibling as a Brosca. You have different dads but the same mother to your sister, and she practically raised you. She goes on about how she remembers your father leaving; you do not, as you were a baby at the time.

Using this,I'd peg Rica as about 5 years older then you, which would put the Brosca at 18, thereabouts.

If you mean tmp's mod, he has a human version up as well.

Depends I suppose.  Personally I think Enigma and Katzen's facial tattoos are pretty cool in an extreme way.

I'm pretty meh with idea of tattoos on the Couslands because i view the tattoos on humans in Ferelden as something used in way they actually were used in the past, that is to brand established criminals so the population at large would be warned about threat they posed. So, i get the "oh my PC is just a rebel" thing but how many of these "young rebels" would be really stupid enough to put equivalent of "SERIAL RAPIST" on their forehead for life? That goes into territory of almost literally cutting off one's nose to spite the face... Posted Image

You're younger than the DN, but I don't know if there is any indication on the lowest possible age for any other character.

I think we talked briefly on this in the dwarf thread, trying to come up with a reason for dwarf nobles to have tattoos. I don't think there actually ever was an explanation. The nobles have access to different tattoos than the commoners do.

I think the age ranges are pretty much open to interpretation. I've seen arguments for and against ages ranging from 16 to 24, with good justifications on both sides.

Aren't they battle tattoos?  Like Kardol has tattoos but no castless s mark thing on the cheek.

Well, this is a fantasy world, left open for us to RP as we wish I think.Posted Image Good arguments on both sides.

Because the commoner ones build on the basic brand, and the noble or anyone non-branded would want that. The nobles get a more warrior-esque gallery of tattoos.

Maybe. The Legion of the Dead applies their own set of tattoos as part of the funeral ritual when members join their ranks.
