That mod has multiple versions of tweaked characters: the "lore" versions are looking more like the default game characters, then there's "just pretty" version and the "recommended" one which i'm not sure what it does. Do you have personal experience with this mod? I'm a little wary about even using it because of the .exe files and I've seen people say that when they removed Improved Atmosphere, all of their earlier saved games left the NPCs naked. What other spec did you decide to go with?
I like the AW as a boost to whatever other specilzation I have. With the shimmering shield from AW, I got 100% mental & physical resistance and 75% of all the other resistances. It didn't eat up my mana, I was still completey a damage-casting mage. I'm trying to convince myself to give it up for another spec.
Same here, but I accept that my PCs are JC Penney and other people like the wilder/ more unusual looks. I prefer that tattoos stay a Dalish and casteless thing, otherwise the meaning for those tends to be lost.tmp7704 wrote...
I'm pretty meh with idea of tattoos on the Couslands because i view the tattoos on humans in Ferelden as something used in way they actually were used in the past, that is to brand established criminals so the population at large would be warned about threat they posed. So, i get the "oh my PC is just a rebel" thing but how many of these "young rebels" would be really stupid enough to put equivalent of "SERIAL RAPIST" on their forehead for life? That goes into territory of almost literally cutting off one's nose to spite the face...

Odd, I installed them but took them back off almost immediately because it seemed more unnatural. I was looking at people's mouths because the white teeth were more prominent, and the brighter colors made it seem more cartoonish.

Yeah i don't really like the .exe thing myself, so i don't actually use it. As far as uninstall goes though, it shouldn't cause any issues like IA can do -- the head .mor files aren't included in your save or linked to like it happens for the items, so if you remove the changed files the game seamlessly falls back to its default designs.Gilsa wrote...

Here's the work on the commoner origin. From squinting my eyes at the small image, Rica does look pretty. I'm pleased to see her hair is still orange. I'm definitely digging Jarvia's tougher look. I may download that for her new look.

This. I can't do white teeth, I stare at their mouths and feel like they have buck teeth. I guess I'm just too used to the darker teeth. The redesigned mod brightens the teeth, which is why I had to open the .erf file and get rid of that! Everytime Alistair opened his mouth, I saw buck teeth! Did not make me happy.
I haven't used the white teeth mod, so maybe that's better.
