Well, you have the treaties as proof of you being a GW and everyone at the Circle knows who you are. If they had to, the Templars there could vouch for you.Lady Jess wrote...
Wow, I just realized something. First Caislyn needs new hair, and less pink lip color. But beyond that, as Duncan left us at the fire...it has got to be scary for a mage, having just been freed from the circle (In Caislyn's case as reward for catching Lily), having the leader of the wardens die. I mean, now you're only proof that you're not an apostate is an ex templar that you don't know at all.
Well thats true, but would you know those treaties PROVE your affiliation? All recruitment records were lost at Ostagar, until Riordan finds them. And the only person that has them after his capture, is Howe until you rescue Anora and find them. If you're a mage that was rewarded with leaving to join the wardens, I'd think you'd be a bit nervous that your only proof is treaties you can't prove you didn't steal, and an ex templar's word. I guess in a sense, Loghain putting up wanted posters for you is actually a good thing.

Thankies ^^ Right in the progress, I think. Haven't played her very far yet (one treaty, now parked in Orzammar). Name is Samira, which I found a pretty name until I remembered that my EM is called Amira. Hurray for non-creativity. >.>
However, she loved Gorim, run kinda blindly into Behlen's trap and pissed about it and the whole politic intrigues. So Harrowmont will so getting the crown and Behlen will decorate the assembly hall with his blood. She won't forgive him.
Sort of stumbled into a romance with Alistair in time and didn't even know how that happened. Still indifferent whether it will be serious or just a fling with that strange human. She only knew that she wanted to kick him into the nuts after he had offered her the rose after meeting Gorim again (talk about baaad timing). Didn't talk for days with him after that. Gets aaaaaangry very fast, threw a hissy fit at poor Gorim in Denerim and regretted it afterwards. Facepalmed at Alistair's king thing, because even on the surface the noble thing seems to haunt her. Took his word that he doesn't want to be king, otherwise she had thrown him to the wolves...or mabari already xD
Surprisingly enjoys being a Grey Warden, although many things on the surface are still freaking her out. (The sun...so bright argh xD) Loves flowers. (How girly
Doesn't plan to return to Orzammar after ending the blight. Too many bad memories. She is rather eager to make some good on her own, which means I strongly see a GW ending incoming

The down side of this is that it could be a distraction for your companions, too.Merilsell wrote...

Eh, between Morrigan and the PC they probably become quickly immune to the charms of anything that isn't full on toplessness.

I'm going to post a King Maricstair to soften this for Addai...

Stupid question: Do we think Varel is married? And stupid question #2: Is Varel his first or last name?

Stupid question #2 made me snort and I'm glad I had just swallowed my tea..... I have no idea, but I'd go wtih it being his first name. My first instinct.
As to the first, I think no. We don't really get any mention of his wife moving to the Vigil, or any information on her at the end when (if?) he dies....seems pretty insensitive of our Warden, who is off running around finding everyone else's dead husband/widow/lying cheating signficant other in the Amaranthine area.

Arl Eamon and Bann Teagan are title+first name, so was Teyrn Loghain, so I'd assume Varel is first name too.

I didn't plan on falling in love with Orzammar, either, especially since the first time I played through as a HN I felt really guilty that I was putting the **** candidate on the throne but I was thinking about the casteless and I had somehow gotten the (apparently correct) impression that Bhelen was better for them. Playing though it as a DN, though...I can't actually RP one as wanting to have a self-imposed exile. My DCs, however, only return when Rica starts begging her to visit because they really hate it there and if Branka is any indication they don't want to be a Paragon.Merilsell wrote...

Really? Wouldn't that cause problems with Zevran? Could he really live there?Lady Jess wrote...

And then there's 'Teyrn Cousland' and 'Arl Howe.' Leonas Bryland is called Arl Bryland. Maybe the different regions have different practices regarding that?Lady Jess wrote...
