So wait, the romance has to be on and he's at Love, correct?Sandtigress wrote...
I think anything other than the hardening response, but he has to be at love to get it. It's ADORABLE. He says "Before we go any further, I just want to say that you've been a true friend and....I love you." He says it in this way like he's lettting you think he means just as a friend if that's all you want it to mean but gosh he hopes you know he means that he really loves you - I'd love to know what the toolset VOs are here, actually.
It's also one of the few times where you can say "I love you too" back to him, instead of "I feel the same way". <3 I usually end up going this route, then reloading and hardening him.
Yes. I suspect you could probably turn the romance on right there outside of Goldanna's house and have this work. He just has to be in a romance and at love, or else he'll tell you that "you're a true friend" and won't say that he loves you. That made me sad when I did that, because I had never not had him say I love you there before!
Also, to try and make it clear, this is the next conversation you have, right after Goldanna's, the one you have to initiate. Hence the "before we go any futher" part - this is the convo where you would otherwise confirm the hardening process, except it's with unhardened Alistair. lol Was that perfectly muddy?
He doesn't have to be at love. My character was at "adore" when I got the conversation and he said he loved her. It switched to "love" then.
Ahhh you're right, Yuki. (PS3 player, I can't see these things) I should say he needs to be at Adore (is Adore enough or does it have to be 100 Adore or is there a difference? Stupid console!), which will then switch to Love at this conversation, the same as it does when you take the hardening route....
