Alistair sounds quite cold.  I imagine that's because you're greeted pretty rudely, even as a Dalish PC.  Morrigan is her usual charming self.  Also note Cammen's head right over Morrigan's right shoulder.  He's probably checking her out from behind.  Reminds me of her "the terror makes the loving all the sweeter" talk with Carroll.  LOL  Whyyy do we not get a chance to sic Morrigan on Cammen?!

Oh, and please excuse Idun's unladylike posture and hand clipping.  She grew up without a mother to teach her how to sit like a lady.  :D

He doens't really seem rude (quite the opposite) until he randomly starts yelling at you. He really should have let you explain.

Yeah, that was odd. I was thinking , oh he's being much nicer than usual, then he bites your head off. Crazy.

I actually expected them to reveal that Sarel had been bitten by a werewolf and that he was succumbing to the symptoms....it's weird how he just goes all angry and mad at you all of the sudden.

He is actually better looking that way.

In fact, looking at it again. It's almost as if he looks like me.
Not sure if I like that to be honest.

Oh really? Mwahaha. Should this not be the base for a KoP addin?

I've never seen that on my Dalish...what the heck? And well, that sure would give her incentive to side with the wolves. She very much considers her companions her clan, and that obnoxious twit has no idea what she went through...you should totally be able to lay on the guilt right there.

He's a bit of a hothead, and does apologize.  By rudeness I meant in general in the camp.  Alistair would pick up on suspicious looks, comments, etc.  That's how I'm interpreting his tone.  You have to admit it's not very Alistair-like.  Difficult for Idun, I think, since they are just beginning to get close.  I always imagine that it's hard to see cities and palaces and then go back to compare the primitive life and relative naivete and xenophobia of the Dalish.  She would be embarrassed on his behalf and embarrassed for her way of life.  With Alistair it's easier, of course, since he slept with dogs etc.

I figure that as a mage with some background in these things, she is well on to the fact that something fishy is going on with the werewolves and Zathrian.  I don't think a Dalish PC of mine would ever kill them, but certainly force Zathrian to come clean and break the curse.

You know, Sarel annoys me, even as a Dalish.  Hey, those are my friends!  You could at least be nice to them and trust that I know why I was sent with the Wardens....  <_<

It's that patronization of the elders to the young, I think.  He still sees your PC as a child.  Very Wynne-like.  <_<

It was interesting about the Dalish in Antiva being more violent.  Also found it interesting that Paivel is said to be so old.  Maybe he's recovering some of the immortality of the elves?

When they mentioned the wife that died...were they talking about Sarel's or Danayla? I couldn't quite tell.

Oh, one question- I notice that Sarel has some whiskers?! I didn't think elves had facial hair.

Heh, same here. Sarel is the typical ****, Lenya looks at with an innocent smile and thinks 'You know nothing about me or my companions. So STFU, would you? <_<

And after a brief while of considering, she would it say out loud to him...

Sarel's wife.  That's why he snaps at you.  I suspect that he knows about  the curse and the reason behind it.  Anyway the storytellers tend to nurse the grievances, I think.  It's sort of their role.  They're rather like politicians.  <_<

Well, KoP can't work as a companion, as he will greatly overshadow the PC. And it will essentialy lock the Morrigan romance.
And the PC no longer has any say in any decision. KoP decides. In fact, the PC can't even pick his own stats, KoP decides that for him / her.

See? It would be problematic to make a KoP addon.

Ok maybe siding with the werewolves as a dalish would be harsh. I'll probably save that for my blood mage, but i can see Lyra finally having her eyes opened to how harshly her people view humans, and having that clash with how kind Alistair has been to her from the start. And even how much help Morrigan has been, how nice Wynne is to her, and Leliana. It would be a very good moment for her to shed some of her own issues and see things differently as far as her working with humans, and even caring about one.

Now I'm actually sympathetic. And no wonder he was so thrilled when you break the curse.

I thought it was interesting that Varathorn talks about your father the keeper advocating that the Dalish be more involved with the humans.  Hurrah for the old man.

Why did the humans and city elves kill him, anyway? Did they ever say?

They said it was just bandits.  But I do wonder if no one ever told you anything about him because he and your mother seem to have been controversial figures.  They are probably hoping you won't take after them.  Doh!

Yes, that worked out quite well, didn't it? Does Zathrien say anything about your father's pro-human tendencies given how much that would have annoyed him?

Ok, I've put it off long enough. I must sleep. Maybe by tomorrow I'll figure out how to get Caislyn over her fluffyness. So far she's...

1. Tattled on Jowan, but feels horribly guilty that he got caught. Thought she was doing it for his own good. Didn't think about how it would hurt him.

2. started falling for Alistair, who gave her a rose. And when he tells her about the prince thing does she even get a little upset? Oh no, not Caislyn, she's all "Oh, I completely understand, that must have been awful!"

I'm afraid to even let her talk to Zevran, lest he seduce her! Girl has got to have a life altering moment that makes her see people are out for themselves and she needs to protect herself a bit. Otherwise, How will she ever tell Alistair to!

Well toughening Alitair up for when he's King will be for his own good, right? Even if you don't intend to crown him you are lead to believe you have no choice at that point in the game.
